What is taking place on screens of all sizes throughout the civilized world over the past several weeks has been raising some questions. The scenes and words coming from hand-held plastic boxes and wall-sized screens are capturing the world’s attention like never before because of what is taking place throughout the world, especially in the Western world where religion continues to play a major role in the lives of the masses. People are either adamantly for or adamantly against particular religions and the commands of their respective gods. In the spiritually mongrelized nation called America, the always hostile relationships between religions is always simmering just beneath the social surface. Due to the Israel-Hamas war that has grabbed the world’s attention, the animosity has exploded onto the social surface for all to see. Even when religion is not mentioned, two gods are influencing in what is taking place. With the religious “wars” keeping the pot boiling, I will present a series of familiar “headlines” that speak to the situation and will respond to each one from God’s point of view which He has recorded in His Holy Scriptures and preserved as THE source of all information relative to all human relationships.

Since the Middle East exploded in warfare several weeks ago I am being asked for the Scriptural reasons why certain things are happening. Also, I am asked what God says about other religious matters being put forth on television., particularly by preachers trying to give away instant salvation or a prayer app, or to sell a book, watch a movie, etc. A few people want to know how legitimate these actions are relative to the Bible. I find that most (actually 99.99%) of religious people have at best piecemeal (bits and pieces of) information relative to spiritual matters. A major problem comes to the surface when people know part of a Biblical statement–what I call a “headline”–but have no knowledge of the “fine print” relative to the information, without which the “headline” cannot come to fruition. As I have stated before, not having the “fine print” is like owning a safe filled with money but not having the combination, or more correctly, having the combination but refusing to use it correctly. In this series we will examine some of popular misconceptions caused by partial reading of Biblical statements and failure to search out other passages that apply to the subject as we are commanded to do in Isaiah 28:9-13..

In this series I will state a question or misunderstanding, then address the issue using the Holy Scriptures as my sole source of information as I did in the previous series. Over time I have found that some listeners will respond to God’s Word with statements like: “I didn’t know that was in the Bible.” Others simply look at me with the proverbial “deer caught in the headlights” stare. I am not surprised by their lack of Biblical knowledge because I was once one of them. Jesus warned that only those who are truly His sheep will listen to His voice (Gospel/Truth/Word/Law) and will reject the voice of strangers (false prophets). Read John 10:1-18. There is only one way to distinguish between God’s Truth (Word–Jn. 17:17) and Satan’s perverted “truth” (Gal. 1:6-9). As always, do not take my word for anything. Study the book, chapter and verse provided in order to KNOW the Truth and be free from error.

WHY DOES THE WORLD HATE THE JEWS? I wrote a series on this subject (key word–Hate) so I will give a brief answer here. When the patriarch Abraham obeyed God He promised to reward him by giving a large portion of the Middle East to his descendants–the children of Israel (Jacob). The “Promised Land” stretched from the Euphrates River to the Nile River. However, in order to keep the land the Israelites would be required to obey God. Prior to the arrival of the Israelites the promised land was inhabited by heathen people who worshiped a variety of gods. The Lord promised to remove these people, which He did. However, Israel turned away from God and, over time lost most of the land to heathen people. Today, the heathen world, including much of so-called Christianity, hates the Jews because they are living on what the world calls “Muslim land.” That is why we see so much antisemitism being expressed throughout the world. To understand why God is sending this trouble on Israel read Deuteronomy 28, The world hates America for two reasons: 1) because she backs Israel to their Judeo-Christian religious connection, and 2) because, like her Jewish counterpart, America has turned her back on her Founder. Note in Deuteronomy 28 that IT IS GOD WHO IS CAUSING ISRAEL AND AMEERICA SO MUCH TROUBLE. As I tell those who will listen, the reason for all of man’s problems is the same–SIN–THE BREAKING OF GOD’S LAW (1 Jn. 3:4). Note the difference between Deuteronomy 28:1-14 and verses 15-68. Apply this chapter to America to understand why she is having such problems. The wages of sin is spiritual death now and physical death later. America, like Israel, is spiritually dead.

As I have stated before, I believe that God will put Donald Trump back in the White House in order to save America politically, economically, militarily, etc. However, without a true spiritual return to the Lord, she is doomed. I believe we will see a superficial “revival” where people return to the church in large numbers. But there will be no true turn to God where America has not been since the early days of her founding. In my opinion, America has crossed the point of no return. We must, on an individual basis, resolve to obey God in spite of the national turning away from Him, led by the Catholic/Protestant Religious System known as “the church.” Only those who do will be protected and provided for during the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord that will take place during the 3 1/2 years prior to the return of the Lord. Read the Three Resurrections and the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord. Key words–Three and Tribulation respectively.

The reason most of the world does not know or does not believe the Biblical account of Israel’s ownership of the land under discussion is because unconverted man does not have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16) and does not desire to have it. Therefore, man is not able to accept God’s ways (Words) and has accepted Satan’s (man’s) ways as a substitute. God’s ways are not man’s ways (Rom. 11:33). There are some things man simply cannot understand. The things God’s true saints are able to know and understand are received only through the Holy Spirit, which church people do not have abiding within them. Jesus prophesied that only a few salvation seekers would enter His church (gate/sheepfold), receive the Holy Spirit and the mind of Christ, believe and obey His Gospel. He warned that the vast majority would choose to enter Satan’s church and obey his false Gospel (Mat. 7:13,14; 22:14). It is for the sake of those people–the vast majority of professing Christendom–that this ministry exists.

JESUS WAS WOKE–TRUE? I recently learned that Jesus of Nazareth was “woke.” That conclusion was “proven” when He told the prostitute standing before Him that He did not condemn her (Jn. 8:10-12). The knee-jerk conclusion based on Jesus’ Words to the woman supposedly “proves” that, either prostitution is not a sin or that Jesus ignores all sin or that sin does not exist. It stands to reason that If prostitution, which is forbidden in the Holy Scriptures, was declared to be acceptable by Jesus, then all other sins must also be acceptable. After all, if a male can become a female and visa versa simply by thinking it, why can’t all sins be made righteous acts by thinking they are righteous acts? The problem lies in the mind of unregenerate man.

The problem with the woke version of the Jesus-prostitute encounter is that people do not continue to read the Bible once they have seen what they want to see. After Jesus told the woman: “… I do not condemn you,” His next (universally ignored) Words were, “GO AND SIN NO MORE.” With those five words He called prostitution a sin and told her to stop prostituting herself. Also, “SIN NO MORE” is an all-inclusive statement. “SIN NO MORE” INCLUDES ALL SINS. With the Lord, NO means NO and SIN means SIN. Period. Being told to stop stealing apples does not mean one is free to steal oranges.

Jesus knew the hearts (minds) of men (Mat. 12:25; Lk. 6:8; Jn. 6:64). He knew that the woman’s heart had changed. He does not, as wokers would have us believe, allow man to call evil good and good evil (Isa. 5:20), which billions of people do continually. Good examples of this twisted theology are observing the Sunday Sabbath, Christmas, Easter, allowing the slaughter of unborn children, recognizing same-sex marriage, etc., all of which are defined by God as sins. Man has turned all of those wrongs into rights. As I pointed out in an earlier series, THE CHURCH HAS BEEN WOKE FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS.

ONCE ONE ACCEPTS JESUS AS ONE’S SAVIOR ONE IS NOT CONDEMNED FOR ONE’S SINS–TRUE? Another prime example of the problem written about in the previous paragraph involves sin and so-called salvation. In the Book of Romans we find the Apostle Paul writing about His past struggle to rid himself of his old sinful tendencies following his meeting with Jesus and deciding to follow Him. Paul ends his quest by asking Him to “deliver me from this body of death” (7:24). Read Romans 7:8-8:1. Now focus on verses 7:24-8:1. Here Paul praises Jesus for delivering him from sin and condemnation.

However, Satan uses 8:1 to get people off of God’s track and onto his track by causing so-called “Sinners Saved By Grace” to stop reading after the word “condemnation.” Paul states that, once Jesus forgives one’s sins, “there is therefore NOW NO CONDEMNATION.” After reading this “headline” SSBG stop reading and Satan wins the battle. But let us finish the sentence where we find the Lord’s “FINE PRINT”: “… there is therefore now no condemnation TO THEM WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO WALK NOT AFTER (IN OBEDIENCE TO) THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE (HOLY) SPIRIT.” The final four Words carry the most important message in the entire passage. Without them nothing written before them is relevant. As was the case with the prostitute, once forgiveness of sin has taken place, one must “walk in the Spirit,” meaning to “SIN NO MORE.” Holy Spirit power is given to true converts to enable them to ward off Satan’s temptations, which will keep coming as long as he/she lives. Jesus Himself was bombarded by Satan as He hung on the cross hearing Satan’s people tell Him to “come down off the cross,” WHICH HE COULD HAVE DONE. If Jesus could resist the devil’s call to live, He most certainly has the right to expect us to resist the relatively minor temptations of this life.

The message is: STUDY EVERYTHING ABOUT A SUBJECT TO THE FINAL PERIOD USING GOD’S STUDY INSTRUCTIONS FOUND IN ISAIAH 28:9-13. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO GLEAN THE TRUTH THAT CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN HIS HOLY SCRIPTURES. WE MUST DESIRE ABOVE ALL OTHER THINGS TO HAVE GOD’S “TRUTH IN THE INWARD PARTS” (Ps. 51:6/ Jer. 31:33). THRE IS NO OTHER WAY TO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD WHICH MUST BE OBEYED IN ORDER TO JOIN HIM IN PARADISE. TO GET CLEAN AND STAY CLEAN ONE MUST SEPARATE ONSELF SPIRITUALLY FROM SATAN’S PEOPLE.
