Bible students will notice that Almighty God established a cause and effect pattern in the Old Testament–a rule of life that can be summed up with these words: BEFORE WRATH COMES WARNING. Nothing has changed, not the sins of the people, not warnings, and as the world is about to find out, not the outpouring of His wrath. He is the Lord Who changes not (Mal. 3:6). He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8). He warned the world’s people through Noah, then killed them all in the Great Flood. He warned the tribes of Israel numerous times before sending the Assyrians and Babylonians to kill, conquer and enslave them. He warned the world repeatedly, then sent World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and now the Islamic War. The spiritual die has been cast–the world will not see peace again until the return of His Son. At that time Jesus will end all wars and will establish God’s kingdom on earth from which He and His saints will rule the universe forever (Rev. 18-22). See The Kingdom of God. In the ancient past God repeatedly warned His people and the world that their spiritual conditions must change completely. His warnings have taken the form of disease epidemics, weather disasters, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc. In more modern times His warnings have come in the form of depressions and social upheavals. When those measures failed He poured out His woe of war upon the entire earth–five times. But man refuses to learn from God. Therefore there will come one more global conflict–World War III which will destroy most of mankind before Jesus returns to bring peace to the earth for the sake of His “elect,” His true church, His “little flock.” These are those few who searched for, found and entered His strait gate and walked His narrow way, who endured persecution to the end with their righteousness intact (Mat. 7:13,14). These, and only these, He tells us, will inherit eternal life (Mat. 10:22).

Unfortunately the so-called “Christian nations” of the world have not learn the lessons of Israel and Judah. Nor have numerous deadly floods, famines and epidemics prompted them to study and believe Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. That “Old Testament stuff” has been lost on self-centered modern man, including churchman. Man being a non-discriminatory God-rejecter, he has also discarded most of the New Testament as well. Man has learned nothing from the numerous outpourings of God’s wrath. Not even two world wars have gotten his attention. But a few changes did take place due to God-sent troubles, temporary though they were.

History reveals that during the world wars, epidemics, financial disasters, etc. churches were packed as millions of both churched and unchurched suddenly got religion in great numbers. Lives were changed with the promise of more changes to come if God would just solve the current problem. Church people promised to be more religious–to go to church and read their Bibles more, etc.  That the church was in deep trouble is revealed in James 5:16 where we are told that “The fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much.”  But just as Joshua and Calib did not have enough spiritual help to turn God’s wrath away from Israel, there have not been enough righteous men on earth to cause God to reverse course during the world’s upheavals. Steeped in their self-made religion, church people did not realize that it was that very religion that had brought on God’s wrath in the first place. PEOPLE OF THE BOOK ARE REQUIRED TO KNOW IT, BELIEVE IT AND OBEY IT. “Unto whom much is given, much is required” (Lk. 12:48). When religious man fails to obey God’s Word, His wrath is certain to fall in ever-increasing measures. In short, FALSE CHRISTIANITY SERVES AS FUEL FOR GOD’S FIRE. False Christianity continues to infuriate the Lord in ever-increasing measures. As goes the church, so goes the nation. The church, and consequently the “Christian nations,” have consistently rebelled against the Lord. His patience has run out. Both church and state have passed the point of no return. The final display of God’s vengeance is about to be seen and experienced by the entirety of sinning mankind. Many, including church people, sense that something is about to happen. The church masses are looking for the Lamb of God–sweet baby Jesus of manger fame–to come to their rescue. What they are about to face is the full-grown, all-powerful Lion of the Tribe of Judah who will pronounce judgment on those who have failed to see, believe and obey His Light, His Word, His Sword of the Spirit by which all of mankind will be judged (Jn. 12:48).
