Beginning in the Garden of Eden, man has overwhelmingly chosen liberal, multi-godded self rule over the Almighty’s conservative one-Godded centralized rule. In the garden the head count was Self-rule: 100%; God-rule: 0% Though the number of self-rulites is many times larger today, the percentage of the world’s population who allow God to rule them is only slightly higher. Christian nations are filled with citizens and governments that are equally as anti-God as those whom God is sending to rule them. And rule them they will unless those nations affect an across-the-board, total life change. And that is not going to happen. God has left those countries and burned their spiritual bridges behind Him. Because of man’s rejection of Him, He has turned His back on those who continue to call themselves by His name while denying the Truth of what He said.

In the last U.S. national elections dozens of Muslims were elected to public offices ranging from the lowest to the highest political positions. As the media has so repeatedly and joyfully pointed out, they have become the leaders of the liberal pack, which continues to grow as the population becomes younger. It is those Muslim faces and voices we continually see and hear, along with their equally heathen supporters. One went so far as to announce that she is the boss. But true God-seekers are not surprised by this turn of events. They know that He warned us that, because of individual and national sins, He (not voters) would place into rulership positions “the basest (worst) of men” (Dan. 4:17).

The United States, which has touted herself as the world’s #1 Christian nation in the distant past, has become the world’s spiritual whore. She leads all nations in the production, glorification and distribution of sin and false religion. She is the standard for which the sowing and reaping rule was formulated. Having sown the wind she is now reaping the whirlwind. The invasion of heathen from all over the world, so-called “acts of nature,” political failure, a diminished military, economic debt-over-income, trade imbalance, loss of global status, the weakening dollar world-wide, civil unrest, Satan worshiping congregations, abortion, acceptance of sexual deviancy as “Biblically acceptable” and, what is most observable to her citizens and the world, governmental power in the hands of “the basest of men” (and women) who are nothing more than mental and emotional babes. Again, God’s saints are not surprised by this. Being ruled by women and children is a curse God warned sinful people and nations about in Isaiah 3:4,12 where He says about the rebellious Israelites: “I will appoint children to be their leaders, and babes will rule them.” “… children are (will be) their oppressors and women (will) rule over them.” He went on to say that these leaders would cause the people to err and would destroy their way of life. God is no respecter of persons; what He does for and to one, He does for and to all. Modern America makes ancient Israel look like a nation of angels. And it gets worse. Now the liberals are wanting to lower the voting age to 16. I believe that this will happen in the near future. If that happens, local, state and national leaders will be elected by teen-agers. Millions of teeny-boppers, combined with millions of equally clueless millennials, will have the power to do whatever they want. What they want is a Godless, Socialist nation. AND AS HAS BEEN THEIR LIVES SO FAR THEY WILL GET WHAT THEY WANT. Then Jesus Christ will return to destroy the world as God-rejecting men have made it. The Lord tells us that what is coming will be worse than everything that the world has seen. Think about it: two world wars; Korean and Vietnam wars; the Black Plague; the influenza epidemic; famine; floods; droughts; earthquakes; volcano eruptions–all combined. It is easy to see why so many will die.

However, there is hope for the “few” who “find” and “strive to enter” God’s strait gate and walk His “narrow way” leading to eternal life (Mat. 7:13,14). These He calls His “firstfruits,” His “little flock,” His tiny “remnant,” His “Very Elect” who have obeyed His Word. These He will take to a “place of safety” He calls “her (the church’s) place” where they will be protected during the soon-coming Great Tribulation in which 90% of the earth’s population people will die. Following the final great battle, God will rule the world from Jerusalem. But He will have help. His Very Elect will rule and reign with Him over the earth and the universe forever. L.J.
