The Ancient Israelites were called by God to be His “light to the Gentiles” (all non-Israelite people)–isa. 42:6; 49:6. What made Israel God’s people was her agreement to obey His Ten Commandment Law (Exo. 19:5,6,8) which He then proclaimed to them audibly from atop of Mt. Sinai (20:1-17), then wrote it in stone and later wrote it in the hearts of His true saints. Israel’s specific commission from the Lord was to OBEY HIS LAW SO THAT HE COULD BLESS THEM IN EVERY WAY. The Gentiles would see what love for and obedience to Him would do for them so that they would come to Him, obey Him and thereby become SPIRITUAL ISRAELITES. IN THIS WAY THE ENTIRE WORLD WOULD BE BLESSED BY HIM—WHICH WAS HIS DESIRE AND PLAN FROM THE BEGINNING. God does not respect persons (Acts 10:34). Nor does he change (Mal. 3:6). His will for mankind remains the same (Jn. 3:16,17). One day the entire world will indeed obey Him and will live in peace, harmony and plenty for ever. Read Deuteronomy 28:1-14 to see what God does FOR those who obey His Laws, commands, statutes, etc. Then read the remainder of the chapter to see what He does TO those who do not obey Him.

Has America–God’s modern day “light to the Gentiles”–fulfilled His commission? Or is she going the way of her biological and spiritual ancestors–Israel? Read Deuteronomy 28:15 to the end to see what happens to the nation that refuses to obey God’s Law. Then compare what you read to modern America. AMERICA IS BEING CURSED EXACTLY AS GOD WARNED ISRAEL SHE (ISRAEL) WOULD BE CURSED. HE DID CURSE her AND SHE NO LONGER EXISTS AS A NATION. THE FEW ISRAELITES EXISTING AS ISTAELITES (“JEWS”) ARE CONSTANTLY UNDER ATTACK AND WILL, ALONG WITH AMERICA AND ENGLAND, WILL BE DEFEATED AND ENSLAVED. The Jews (tribes of Judah and Benjamin) make up only a small percentage of the world’s Israelites, who do not know they are Israelites, but believe themselves to be Gentiles. What about America?

America is walking lock-step with her ancient ancestors by turning her back on her Creator. A recent study found that the percentage of Americans who identify as Christian is decreasing by one percent per year. For many years God has been “speaking” to America through the curses He has poured out on her. Read The Lion Has Roared; Is Anyone Listening? Key word–Lion.

Jesus warned 2000 years ago about what we are seeing today in America. and England, and to a lesser degree in the other “Christian nations.” He knew that God would raise up America to be His light to the rest of the world. He would bless her as long as she obeyed His Law, which she did for a hundred years or so. She would be His light to the world by taking and sending His Holy Bible to every nation under the sun. He began this process on the Day of Pentecost 31 A.D. by sending Jews from “every nation under heaven” home with the Good News (Gospel) that their Messiah had come. Later the 12 apostles would minister to those people and establish churches which would spread the Good News to those in their area (Mat. 10:6).

But Jesus also knew that Satan would do everything in his power to stop the divine process. He succeeded spectacularly by planting his ministers in those churches as salvation seeking men rejected God’s method of assigning church leaders (Eph. 4:4-6; 11-16–note vs 11) and took to themselves that power. In this way Satan turned church people away from God’s true Word and to the words of man. Satan’s method of gaining control over religious man by giving him what he wants (Mat. 16:23). Over time the organizations his false prophets established are called “denominations”, “faiths,” “churches,” etc. Such false Christians today comprise the vast majority of professing Christendom, just as Jesus warned would be the case in Matthew 7:13,14 and 22:14. As was the case among the ancient Israelites, only a minutely few–a “remnant”–of those called “God’s people” are His Very Elect saints. Read “My People Called by My Name” and Who Are God’s People? Jesus warned about this eventuality in Matthew 24:4-8. The question is, what caused the apostasy (falling away from God) that was prophesied by the Apostle Paul in Second Thessalonians 2:1-3 where he foretold that, just before Christ returned to earth, there would come a “GREAT FALLING AWAY” (GR–APOSTASY) from the Lord that would involve the entire world? What Paul did not know is that America, and her sister in apostasy–Great Britain–would lead the world away from God and into the waiting arms of the devil. In the Matthew 24 passage Jesus was asked by His disciples when He would return to bring an end to the world as we know it. He warned them–His disciples then and ever since–to beware of FALSE PROPHETS who would proclaim that He, Jesus, was indeed the Christ of God, but would then deceive “MANY” into following them into false Christianity. He then warned of everything we have been seeing take place within the world’s so-called “Christian nations” specifically America and Britain. Those two Israelite nations were –by the two sons of Samuel (Ephraim and Manasseh) whose descendants founded Great Britain and America respectively (Gen. 48:9-21). Note verse 16. All so-called Christian nations have followed the religious path Satan’s false prophets have paved for them with America and England leading the way. As Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24, wars, disease epidemics, natural disasters, social upheaval, etc. have become normal daily life for those countries as they fall ever farther away from the Lord Who created them. Warning, as Jesus said in verse 8, what we are seeing take place today is only “THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS.” America and Britain (modern day “Israel”) will go the way of their Israelite ancestors. They will be defeated militarily, captured, and enslaved in the lands of their conquerors. My heart breaks when I think about what my precious nation has become, is becoming and will become. I dread what my loved ones will be forced to endure during the soon-coming Great Tribulation and Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.
