As is Scripturally clear in the New Testament (2 Pet. 1:21/ Eph. 2:22/ 2 Tim. 3:14-16/ 1 Cor. 10:11), what was written to and about the ancient Israelites holds true for their descendants (America and Britain) today, along with Gentiles who join them in God’s church by obeying His Law (Genesis to Revelation).  Another significant Truth is that the apostles taught and preached out of the Old Testament.  The New Testament would not come into being until all of them except John had been martyred.  We are told by the Apostle Paul that Jesus  came to confirm the promises God made to the Israelite fathers–Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Rom 15:8).  Why, if His dealings with them had no bearing on the modern church? Plus, those who have true, Bible faith are “blessed with faithful Abraham,” making him their spiritual father (Gal. 3:9).  Old Testament Abraham’s children comprise God’s New Testament Church today.  This body of true believers comprise the few who have entered Christ’s strait gate (church) and are walking His narrow path (obeying His Word/Law)–Matthew 7:13,14.  With that foundation laid, let us turn to Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 to learn what God had in store for His people anciently and today.  Neither God nor His Word have changed.

In the previous posting we learned God’s will for those who look to Him for Truth (His Word–Jn. 17:17) with a heart to obey it.  In a word, his will for His church is to OBEY Him and, as a result, to receive BLESSINGS from Him.  This is His stated desire for His obedient people.  But His blessings, including the gift of eternal life, must be EARNED through WORKS–OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORD.  He makes this perfectly clear through Paul in 2 Corinthians 6:4-7:1 where He warns that holiness and sin NEVER MIX.  We must, as He tells us in Ezekiel 22:26, distinguish between holiness and sin, then choose the former to the exclusion of the latter.

In this series I will present Scriptural passages in future tense as they are written in the Holy Bible, though many of God’s promised curses have been afflicting modern day Israel (the United States and Britain) for many years.  Some curses are just now coming into play and others will be arriving soon BECAUSE OF ISRAEL’S PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE SINS.  In order to condense the information, I will focus on the United States when describing what is happening and for what reason.  In most instances I will comment on curses that are being endured by America at the present time.  These comments will be {bracketed}.  Some curses mentioned in the focal chapters are yet to come and will be endured by the nation unless her people turn from their sins and, as John the Baptist said to the Pharisees who had come to his baptism, “… show proof of repentance” (Mat. 3:8).

Let us now examine the two chapters in God’s Word that perfectly summarize His attitude and actions concerning those who refuse to obey Him.  I will combine scriptures from both chapters when discussing a specific subject.  I will include verse numbers from each chapter that relate to each pronouncement.  The first group of numbers will refer to verses found in Leviticus 26.  The second group will relate to Deuteronomy 28.  We will begin with God’s opening statement to ancient and modern Israel:

“If you will not hearken to Me and refuse to do all I have commanded you to do, thereby proving that you despise my statutes, My judgments and My commandments and thereby break My covenant, “I WILL DO THESE THINGS TO YOU.”  (14,15/ 15).  With these Words the Lord warns man that he has two choices: OBEY HIM OR ANSWER TO HIM.  In the remainder of this series I will write what God said, then relate it to what He has done, is doing and will do to the United States as long as her people continue to rebel against Him.  Let us begin.

Sinners will experience terror and sorrow of heart for what is going on around them.  They will work but not receive nature’s bounty for their efforts because their enemies will consume what they have gathered (16/ 21,22,27,28,35).    {Millions of people, especially those in the inner cities, are afraid to leave their homes.  Some will not venture out at night for fear of being hurt or killed.  Millions of foreigners have invaded our country by breaking our laws.  Millions more on the way.  These people arrive here having no way to provide for themselves except through crime or by receiving financial support from the federal, state and local governments which receive money by taxing American citizens.  They have in the past, are now and will continue to be housed, fed, medicated, educated and transported by American tax dollars.  They are literally being given what others have worked for.  God is sending diseases on those who disobey Him.  These pestilences cling to them and refuse to let go.  People are suffering from heart failure, fever, inflammation and skin infections.  People suffer leg problems, causing them to need artificial knees and hips.  From head to foot, sinners are suffering for their rebellion against God, many of them are professing Christians.  God is afflicting people with skin rashes, piles, scabies and the itch that clings to the body for long periods of time.  He is also afflicting people with madness and astonishment of heart (mind).  People shoot people, run them over with cars, attack them on the street for no reason.  Road rage is a national craze.  People are attacking the police, knowing that they will probably be shot to death.  Inner cities are burning while the police look on as the media remark about how peaceful the demonstration is going.  Lunacy reigns in America}.

God will send famine upon sinning America.  The land will not yield its bounty.  Work will all be in vain.  Trees will not yield their fruit.  Prayers for divine help will not be heard on high.  The earth will refuse to produce because the Lord will shut up heaven so that the earth’s surface will become powder.  What the weather does not kill, locusts will.  Locusts will eat planted seeds before they can germinate.  Worms will eat the fruit that is produced (20,26,10/ 23,24,42,17,38-40 ).   {Throughout much of the nation’s heartland drought is ravaging the countryside.  Corn and wheat farmers watch their crops wither.  Cattle ranchers worry about having to sell their cattle because of a lack of food.  Large stretches of fruit orchards are being destroyed for lack of available water.  Farmers are refused water that flows down from local mountains.  This water empties into the Pacific Ocean.  Why? to save a tiny fish.  Fish have become more important than people}.

God will set His face against sinners and send enemies to conquer and enslave them.  They will be killed by their enemies who will reign over the captives which they will take back to their countries as slaves and servants.  Captives will fear when no one is chasing them.  Their enemies will hate them and rule harshly over them.  America’s enemies will take over their land and other possessions.  They will be astonished at how God is punishing this once-blessed nation.  Strangers living in their land will rise up above them and push them down.  Americans will serve their masters while suffering hunger, thirst and nakedness.  Their enemies will place iron shackles on their necks and work them to death.  Adults and children alike will be taken into slavery.   Mothers and fathers will eat them due to starvation.  Wives will be given or sold to other men along with their children.  The sight of this happening will drive people mad.   They will go out against their enemies one way and flee seven ways.  God will scatter sinners who call upon His name to the four winds.  While in foreign countries they will be forced to serve gods made of wood and stone (17,22/ 18,43,41,44,48,49,49,50,51-57,30,31,   25,19,30-32,33,34,64-67,34,35,25).    {War, defeat and enslavement happened to Israel anciently and will happen to modern Israel in the future, and for the same reason–sin.  The millions who are invading the nation will all eventually be able to vote.  They will vote for the political party that was in power when they were allowed in–the liberal democrat party.  New York City is considering allowing illegals to vote in local elections.  In some areas they are now allowed to have driver’s licenses.  This trend will eventually go nation-wide if liberals stay in power.  There will come a time, very soon, when liberals will outnumber conservatives many to one.  From that time on liberals will own the nation and control the people.  Our communist enemies, primarily Russia and China, are anxiously awaiting the time when they can attack us.  They know that the liberals in power will do what liberals always do–weaken the nation morally, economically, socially and militarily.   I believe that God is going to give us one more chance to repent and turn to Him by exposing the current administration and the media that sings its praises and hides its evil doings.  Some have predicted a nation-wide religious revival.  There might be such movement but, in my opinion it will not last long, probably not more than 6  years in my opinion.  Read the multiple series titled It Ain’t Over Till its Over and the series titled Donald Trump and America’s Internal Decay.  Key words–Over and Decay respectively.   Several things are happening now that are causing military people to leave the service.  There will come a time when we will be so militarily weak that we cannot fight.  Our armaments will have been depleted badly that we will have nothing with which to fight.  The Biden administration just gave billions of dollars worth of military armaments to the Taliban in Afghanistan.  That is a trend that is likely to continue until the conservatives take over the Senate and the House of Representatives in November as I believe they will.  I also believe that our next president will be Donald Trump as God gives us one last chance to “drain the political, economic and military swamp.”  If we do it will last for only for a short time.  I do not believe that America will return to the Lord.   L.J.
