Another day, another tragedy.  This one in Uvalde, Texas where another maniac has gone on a senseless killing spree, taking the lives of 21 innocent people, most of them the precious children of now-grieving parents.  And the predictable results are in full swing.  As expected, the responses from those with public voices are the same as the last time a horror fell upon us, and the time before that, and the time before that.  From the left we hear calls to enact gun control legislation.  From the right we hear calls to enact human control legislation.  From the pulpit we hear that the solution to the problem can be found only in the church.  Though the responses are always the same, none of these tactics has ever worked, does not work now and will not work in the future.  Why?  Because man refuses to hear God’s voice found only in His Holy Scriptures.  In short, this supposed “Christian nation” is under horrific, deadly siege BECAUSE SHE REFUSES TO OBEY GOD’S LAW.  He warns us repeatedly to expect what we continue to experience if we do not obey His Holy Scriptures.  But men always have two advantages over God relative to national problems: 1) they know the causes of the problem and 2) they have the solutions to the problem.  Man’s way always fails because 1) he refuses to recognize the cause of the problem and therefore 2) he doesn’t recognize the solution to the problem.  Simply put: man, including churchman, cannot solve the problem because he does not know the cause of the problem–INIQUITY (the breaking of God’s Law.)

In a recent posting I took the reader to where God said that He HATED ISRAEL’S GATHERINGS, HER PRAYERS, HER SINGING, HER SERMONS, ETC., every one of which He had commanded them to do.  Why did He reject the actions of His chosen people when they were faithfully following His orders?  Why did they repeatedly find themselves in so much misery while they were obeying His commands?  America claims to be a “Christian nation?” whose people, as “one,” places her “trust” in God.  Her landscape is dotted with tens of thousands of churches where most of her people go to hear His Word preached.  So why is she continuously being hit with problems and terrors?  BECAUSE CHURCH-GOING AMERICANS, LIKE THEIR ANCIENT ANCESTORS, ARE SELF-PROFESSED SINNERS–WORKERS OF INIQUITY (LAW-BREAKERS) WHO BRAG THAT THEY CAN DEFY GOD AND GET AWAY WITH IT.  Why can they break God’s Law with impunity?  Because their god (Satan) has convinced them that they are “saved.”  The fix, they claim, is in.

We hear time after time that “Prayer is the answer” to the individual’s and the nation’s problems.  But God vowed to turn the sinner’s heaven into brass (Deut. 28:23).  PRAYER IS NOT THE ANSWER because it always involves REPENTANCE.  Repentance is intimately connected to sin.  THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE LACK OF PRAYER.  THE PROBLEM IS THE PREPONDERANCE OF SIN.  THE SOLUTION IS NOT REPENTANCE.  THE SOLUTION IS OBEDIENCE.  DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD’S LAW (SIN) IS THE PROBLEM; OBEDIENCE TO HIS LAW (HOLINESS) IS THE SOLUTION.  SIN IS THE SOURCE OF ALL INDIVIDUAL AND NATIONAL PROBLEMS.  HOLINESS IS THE SOLUTION TO ALL INDIVIDUAL AND NATION PROBLEMS.  SIN, AS WE ARE TOLD IN 1 JOHN 3:4, IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF GOD’S LAW.  Read Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28.

Yet you never hear the above-stated Biblical Truths coming from the left, the right or the pulpit.  The Lord repeatedly tells man to “Repent, and believe the Gospel” (Mk. 1:15), and to “Repent, and be converted” (Acts 3:10).  The problem is that man refuses to go beyond repentance which supposedly frees him to sin again, and again, and again, as long as each inevitable sin is followed by repentance.  Man refuses to believe God’s Gospel and convert to it.  I have written about the Satan-designed “sin-repent cycle” in which religious man insists on wallowing.  The fires of hell will burn to ash those who spend their lives in that deadly cycle, along with those who led them to do so.  Woe to the preachers who cry, “Repent” and refuse to command that their followers not need to repent.  God commands those who are called by His name to “Be holy BECAUSE I am holy” (Lev. 11:44,45) and “Be holy AS He is holy” (1 Pet. 1:15,16; 2:5,9).  BECAUSE Christ is holy, we must be holy as He is holy.  “Impossible,” says sin-loving churchman and his false prophets.  “Commanded” says sin-hating God and his true prophets.

In a series I wrote a couple of weeks ago I asked in the title: Obedience To God: Is There A Wrong Way?  Key word–Wrong.  The resounding answer is “Yes.”  Contrary to universal opinion, not all worship of the Lord is accepted by the Lord.  In Christ’s message to the Church of Laodicea He told that lukewarm church that He would rather they be cold than lukewarm.  He compared their mixture of hot (obedience) and cold (disobedience) to vomit, which He applied to the people themselves, vowing to expel them out of His mouth if they did not become hot.  He rejects the mixture of hot (obedience) and cold (disobedience)–Rev. 13:14-20.  Recall that Jesus denied salvation to the Law-keeping rich man because of “one thing”–a single sin (Lk. 18:22).  Adam and Eve were rejected because of one decision.  Ananias and Saffhira died instantly because of one lie (Acts 5).  These people were all worshiping God, serving Him, etc. but were also sinning.  And then there was Judas who preached the Gospel, healed the sick and cast out demons while stealing from “the bag.”  They were all members in good standing in “the church.”  As were the five foolish virgins before the Bridegroom arrived.  Their request to marry Him was denied.  Why?  Because He NO LONGER knew them.  They had been one with (known by) Him, then had sinned themselves away from Him (Isa. 59:2).  Notice Christ’s response to church sinners who will come before Him on Judgment Day expecting to be directed to their heavenly mansions.  They will remind Him of how they had congregated in His name, preached, performed miracles and done many other wonderful things in His name.  To them He will say: “I NEVER knew you; depart from me you who refused to obey My Law”–had committed “iniquity”–Mat. 7:21-23.  Their false prophets had convinced them that the Law had been “nailed to the cross” and therefore had no part to play in their lives.  Because sin is the transgression of that Law, church people live their lives in sin.  Because they refuse to acknowledge what sin is, they have never received forgiveness.  Instead of their sins being forgiven, they are “treasured up” (accumulated) until the Day of Judgment (Rom. 2:5).  Most, if not all of you, have never heard that Biblical Truth before.

Those who call for a religious response to the horror perpetrated on those precious children in Uvalde are missing several of God’s points.  They are self-professed, repeat offenders and are therefore not His people (1 Jn. 3:6-8).  Their worship of Him is in vain because their hearts are far from Him as proved by their sins (Mat. 15:8).  Because of their sins (Law-breaking/iniquity) Jesus has never known them (Mat. 7:23).  Because of these Truths He does not hear their prayers and therefore does not answer them.  I am being generous when I conject that 1% of church prayers are answered.

A while back I wrote about the Lord’s requirements for answering prayer.  Because yet another tragedy has occurred, that lesson bears repeating to remind people that Satan is in charge on earth (2 Cor. 4:4).  In 2 Chronicles 7:13,14 the Lord reminds us that when tragedy occurs, it is He (God Himself) Who either makes it happen or allows it to happen (vs 13).  Then in verse 14 He offers His (the only) solution to man’s many problems: “If My people–those who are called by My name–will HUMBLE themselves and PRAY, and SEEK My face, and TURN from their wicked ways, THEN (AND ONLY THEN) I will HEAR THEIR PRAYERS, FORGIVE THEIR SINS AND HEAL THEIR LAND.”  Instead of obeying God’s rules in order for their prayers to be answered, religious man “doubles down” by returning to the very church “truths” that have brought chaos on this nation, including those in her churches.  Instead of rejecting the Institutional  Church’s “truths,” man delves deeper into them–more church going, Bible reading, etc.  And so the cycle continues.  But their thoughts, words and deeds remain the same.  These are CINOs–Christians In Name Only, otherwise known as SSBG–Sinners Saved By Grace.

Instead of being told to seek out God’s Truth, sinning religionists hear Satan’s clarion call to “Return to the church.”  The teachings of Catholicism/Protestantism and the people’s belief in and obedience to them are what has caused God to send wave after wave of curses upon this once-blessed nation.  This website was created to tell church people these facts.  In Second Corinthians 6:14-7:2 the Lord, through the Apostle Paul, commands God seekers to get out of and stay out of that “unclean thing” which calls itself “the church” because it has no relationship with the holy God and His holy ways.  I ask you to delve deeply and often into His Word and pray for spiritual guidance and faith to believe and obey what is written therein.  There will be no CINOs/SSBG in the Kingdom of God.  L.J.

Addendum: A politician just declared that we need to let God back into the schools.  True.  However the God he and other religionists refer to is the god of the church–Satan–the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4) and its worldly church.  We need the God of the Bible in every aspect of our existence.
