According to the sexual deviance lobby and their supporters, God is in full agreement with them concerning the rightness of their lifestyle. For example, certain young people in the United Methodist Church recently refused to go along with the organization’s rejection of homosexuality. These supposed God-fearing, Bible-believing spiritual zealots claim that the church is going against everything God stands for. Ironically, they are right. Their god accepts sexual deviance in all its forms, along with murder, theft, lying, rape, etc. Their god is Satan–the god of the Institutional Church (Catholicism/Protestantism). As I have pointed out before, those churches that are still giving lip service to the Biblical God will eventually “see the light” and will welcome sinners of all stripes because, as we are assured “Jesus loves them.” I might remind the readers that Jesus looked at the young rich salvation seeker and, “loved him.” However, Christ’s love did not prevent Him from rejecting the salvation seeker for that “one thing” which he lacked. The rejected man had much more faith in what the Lord said than his modern religious descendants. He went away sad because he believed what Jesus said. Today’s supposed Christians believe that they can “lack one (or one hundred) thing” and “You shall not surely die.” Truly Satan has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9). We are all aware of his “If it makes sense it must be right” theology concerning gays and God. Now let us go to God’s Word/Truth (Jn. 17:17) in search of His Truth on the matter. He tells us that what we truly seek, we will find. Let us seek and find Truth.

Sodom and Gomorrah, along with the other cities located the area where Lot has chosen to live, have adopted homosexuality as their life’s walk. In Genesis 19 we find the men of Sodom demanding that Lot allow them to “know” (have sex with) the two “men” who were staying with him. That they were homosexuals is born out by the fact that when Lot offered them his two daughters, the men of Sodom were not interested. They wanted to satisfy their demented sexual cravings with men, not women. Lot pleaded with them not to “do wickedly” relatively to his two visitors. Hearing this, the Sodomites threatened to rape Lot if he did not send them out (vs 9). As is the case with their modern counterparts, the queers of Sodom were not interested in Lot’s virgin daughters or his wife. They wanted sex with men only. So “wicked” was this deviance that God destroyed not only Sodom, but Gomorrah and all of the cities of the plains that practiced homosexuality. So complete was the destruction of the region that Lot’s daughters assumed that the whole world had gone up in flames, and that they and their father were the only humans left alive. Such was God’s wrath expressed toward the homosexuals in the area that had previously been “like the garden of the Lord”–Eden (Gen. 13:10). Today, nothing grows in this area. The only things protruding from the ground are pieces of brimstone which will still burn if ignited. Perhaps the Lord’s attitude toward homosexuality is best expressed in Genesis 19:13 where the two angles told Lot that they had come to Sodom to: “… destroy this place because of the outcry against the (homosexual) people has grown great before (in) the face of the Lord Who has sent us to destroy this place.”

Notice the Words God uses to describe homosexuality: wicked, destruction, outcry. In the following posting we will find Him saying much more about the issue. Those who have eyes to see and ears to hear Him will do so. Those who, having tried Him and found Him wanting, will not. L.J.
