The Talaban killing, destroying, pillaging and raping its way across Afghanistan; “Christian nations” being flooded with heathen; evolving strands of COVID-19 killing, maiming and destroying its way around the globe; homes, out buildings and vehicles bursting into flames as massive fires ravage thousands of acres of land across several states; warfare, kidnapping, rape of children taking place in Africa; flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanoes, psunamis destroying coastal cities in asia; landslides, rockslides and avalanches destroying homes and roadways in the north; a record freeze in southern United States followed by record heat in northern United States; strangers killing strangers for no reason; downtown city areas burning to the ground while the police are held back; innocent people attacked because of their appearance; crime skyrocketing as calls for defunding the police are called for by brain-dead liberals; sexual deviance declared normal; pornography addiction; gambling addiction; drug addiction; drug cartels controlling the U.S.-Mexican border; thousands of criminals being welcomed into the U.S. where U.S. citizens are forced to pay for their hotel, food, medication and transportation bills–their reward for breaking the nation’s laws; thousands of COVID infected foreign criminals turned loose in our border cities; China stealing technical information and the U.S. doing nothing; America haters in the U.S. White House, House of Representatives and Senate trying desperately to “fundamentally transform the United States of America” from a free nation to a communist gulag as their American hating enablers cheer them on; state legislatures refusing to do their duty; 1.8 million people refusing to take offered jobs in order to remain on unemployment; businesses closing for lack of workers; the price of goods rising daily; thousands of jobs wiped away with the stroke of a pen; mental illness rising around the world; American businesses and land being bought up by the nation’s avowed enemies; American military planes faltering because of inferior parts; spineless military leaders fearful of offending our enemies; the United Nations doing nothing as the world explodes in war ….

Why are all of these things happening?  Why are problems getting worse and worse as man tries harder and harder to solve them?  Why were we not warned that this was going to happen? The truth is that we were warned, but only a few believed the Messenger.  The answers to the “why” questions can be found written in plain language for those willing to believe the Source of the answers.  Let us prayerfully study Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 with eyes willing to see what lies before us on the pages of the Book its Divine Author preserved for us.  Let us believe what we read and react accordingly.  Let us understand that those Words were written and preserved for “us upon whom the ends of the world have come” (1 Cor. 10:11).  Let us believe that those Words were written by “holy men of old who spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (1 Pet. 1:21).  Let us realize that the New Testament was founded on the writings of “the prophets and apostles” (Eph. 2:20).  Let us study, believe and obey what the Almighty says to us, for we will all be judged by “the Words that I (Jesus) have spoken” (Jn. 12:44-50).  Jesus Christ spoke every Word found in the Holy Scriptures as He heard them from the Father.  He spoke to the Old Testament prophets, sometimes face-to-face.  He later spoke to the Jews and the apostles while in the flesh.  The prophets and apostles spoke what they heard and recorded their messages in the form of letters to God’s people.  God had the Apostle John gather those letters, codify and preserve them for those of us who are living in the New Testament era.  We are the terminal generation “upon whom the ends of the world have come.”

The world’s moral, social, political, governmental and legal systems are crumbling under the weight of God’s wrath.  He has been “speaking” to mankind through His written Word for many generations.  He has repeatedly “spoken” to rebellious man through divine acts such as those listed in the beginning paragraph of this posting.  But man refuses to hear His Words.  Man, particularly Israelite man (the United States, Great Britain and the Jews of the Middle East) has sown the wind and is now reaping the whirlwind.  The horrors listed above are but the “beginning of sorrows” for this world (Mat. 24:1-12).  Protection during the soon-coming Great Tribulation and Day of the Lord can be attained only individually and only by total sanctification unto the Lord by obedience to His Word, which is Truth (Jn. 17:17).

Do not look to the church for help and guidance.  It is that Satan-serving spiritual whore that has led the nations into the spiritual apostasy in which they now wallow.  We must look up from whence comes the only help available.  But looking up is not enough.  Looking up with faith is not enough.  We must mentally LOOK UP to God as our only source of help.  Then we must POWER UP by studying His Word–the source of all faith (Rom. 10:19).  Then we must spiritually RISE UP to where He is by believing His Word.  Then we must WALK WITH HIM by obeying His Word.  Only then can we be assured that we will be physically gathered unto the Lord “… as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings ….” (Mat. 23:36) and taken to “her (the true church’s) place” where we will be protected and provided for as the world around us destroys itself (Rev. 12:24).

As I have stated before, I have visited the area (“her place”) where I believe God will take His people when the Great Tribulation begins.  His Very Elect will live for 3 1/2 years in this beautiful abandoned city called Petra which has been carved out of a mountain range in the Middle Eastern nation of Jordan.  An ancient society carved some 4,000 caves into the sheer faces of the mountains.  The caves served as the people’s living quarters.  A dry creek bed separates the two mountains from which the city is carved.  That creek will once again flow with pure water from which God’s people will drink.  It is from the top of this mountain range that God allowed Moses to see the Promised Land.  It is from Petra that those living in Christ will be taken up to meet Him in the air upon His return.  The dead in Him will have preceded the living as the First Resurrection takes place.  Read The Three Resurrections.  Key word–Resurrections.  It is from Petra that Christ will take His Very Elect to the Mount of Olives.  From there they will enter Jerusalem where He will establish the Kingdom of God.  Read The Kingdom of God.  Key word–Kingdom.

Let us understand that it is the Almighty who is pouring “speaking” to mankind through a continuous series of problems that man has brought upon himself.  In Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 we see that it is the Lord Himself who punishes man.  But the ultimate credit for man’s terrible condition goes to man himself.  God operates on a “cause and effect” level.  This is summed up in the Scriptural passages that states that what man sows, he reaps, and much more than he sowed.  He “sows the wind and reaps the whirlwind.”  Could God make it any more clear?  L.J.
