For some time now I have been “hearing” the Almighty telling me to write a series on the killing of innocent babies.  If I am recalling correctly, His Spirit began speaking in my spiritual ear not long after the abortion obsession party took over all three segments of the United States Government.  The Lord’s “voice” became more urgent when I read just yesterday two articles that spoke about the taking of the lives of innocent little ones that were created in the image of Almighty God.  In one article a writer was warning baby killers that the legislation a particular state was about to pass would “… shake you to your core.”  The people this writer represented are concerned that too many children will make it out of their mother’s womb alive, rather than piece by piece.  At this time yesterday (5:12 a.m.) I had already begun another article.  God having gotten my attention, I abandoned it and began writing what you are now reading.  Not surprisingly, I feel much better.

The other article I read yesterday included a picture of a seventy foot tall statue of Jesus Christ on which someone had hung a huge banner which read: “THANK GOD FOR ABORTION.”  In the accompanying article the writer noted that, because Jesus had faced many difficult situations, and had to make equally hard decisions, He understands that a woman might need an abortion.  Finding herself having to deal with a self-inflicted “problem,” Jesus would advise the woman to eliminate the “problem”–literally.  In that the author mentioned Mary Magdalene along with Jesus, I assume she is a church member.  A recent national poll found that over half of self-described evangelicals are in favor of abortion on demand.  As a result of America’s change of attitude toward the sanctity of life issue, her citizens kill an unborn baby on average every 30 seconds. That amounts to 3000 babies each day, 1,ooo,ooo each year.  Since  Roe v. Wade, American abortion mills have executed over 61,000,000 unborn children.  That’s MILLION, with an “M.”  Excluding miscarriages, one out of every five American pregnancies ends in abortion.  And the nation goes apoplectic over criminals being killed while committing crimes.  The United States now has a law named after a career criminal who, according to his “pastor,” is now in heaven smiling down on his (the criminal’s) supporters.  The same criminal who had robbed them in the past is now their hero.  “Irony” doesn’t quite cover it.  This is the same mentality that pushes for the death of ever more innocent children.

The irony relative to this situation is that America’s motto is: “IN GOD WE TRUST.”  Truth be known, those statements are correct.  However, the “god” America trusts and whose leadership she has placed herself under is the god of this world–Satan (2 COR. 4:4).  As that passage states, America’s god has blinded her eyes so that the light of the Lord cannot shine on her.  As a result, this “ONE NATION UNDER GOD” wallows in the darkness which she herself has created.  The legalized murder of innocents is a prime example of her rejection of the Biblical God and her embracing of His enemy.  As the Holy Bible tells us, Adam and Eve were the first human beings to embrace the deadly god-switch.  Today, some 7 1/2 billion people are following in their spiritual footsteps.

Several administrations ago the United States was a signatory to the Mexico City Accords which prevented nations from financing abortions outside their own borders.  That changed immediately upon the election of the current president who rescinded America’s participation in that agreement on his first day in office.  The United States is now Murder Central when it comes to the slaughter of the innocent unborn.  Due to the bloodthirsty nature of the nation’s liberals, American tax dollars are once again flowing into other countries in order to enhance their abortion programs.  This so-called “Christian nation” is once again involved in the ripping, tearing, suctioning, slicing and dicing of innocent babies whose body parts are then sold to the highest bidder.  At this point I will provide a partial list of fetal body parts along with the prices that were being paid for those parts in March of 2000.  What with the rise in the inflation rate caused by our liberal government, I am sure that the price of fetal body parts has also risen.  I will simply name the body part and the going price paid for it 21 years ago.  In some cases the price varied according to the age (development) of the victim: skin-$100/ pituitary gland-$150-$999/ ear-$50-$75/ eye-$50-$75/ liver-$125-$150/ kidney-$100-$125/ thymus-$75-$190/ lung and heart block-$150/ spleen-$50-$75/ pancreas-$75-$100/ intestine-$50/ spinal column-$250/ intact embryonic cadaver (body)-$400-$600/ limb-$150/ gonads-$500.

Abortion is big business.  For this reason abortion clinics encourage women to sacrifice their children on the alter of convenience in mind-numbing numbers.  Having involved herself in the murder process, the woman is moved along the money-producing line as quickly as possible.  The entire process can be completed in a matter of minutes.  This gives new meaning to: “turning a quick prophet.” And it is all about prophet.  For example, Planned Parenthood alone took in almost $2,000,000,000 in 1999.  That’s “billion,” with a “B.”  American tax payers underwrite approximately 25% of what is raked in through the nation’s murder-for-hire scheme.

January 21 was the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States.  The law decriminalized abortions right up to the point of death.  And if the pronouncements of highly placed abortion advocates are any indication, the legalized murder of the unborn will evolve into the legalized murder of the born.  An excellent example of this mentality was voiced by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam to a radio audience on January 30, 2019: “If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen” (if a particular law pro-abortionists are in favor of should pass).  “The infant would be delivered (born).  The infant would be kept comfortable.  The infant would be resucitated (caused to breathe)–IF THAT’S WHAT THE MOTHER AND FAMILY DESIRE.  THEN A DISCUSSION WOULD ENSUE BEWEEN THE PHSICIANS AND THE MOTHER.”  It was understood that the discussion would involve the question of whether to kill the baby or allow him/her to live.  When asked at what point should the killing of a baby be prevented by law, one woman replied: “When it leaves the hospital.”  The normal post-partum hospital stay is three days.  This woman wants mothers to be legally allowed to kill a child up to three days old.  And she is not alone.   L.J.
