Female Ministers: God’s Word On The Subject (Pt. 1)

“What do you think about women preachers?” is a question often asked in religious circles.  A controversy has arisen concerning the question.  Should women be allowed to minister in the church, or not?  Some say yes, some say no.  Who is right?  In the past, most churches prohibited women from preaching or teaching.  Later, some denominations allowed them to teach Sunday School classes to children, but not to adults.  A few years ago one of the Baptist organizations held its convention in Dallas (80 miles away) and managed to make national news when the daughter of a world famous evangelist got up to speak, only to have the entire audience stand and turn their backs on her.  My question was, if women are not allowed to minister to men in that organization, why was she asked to speak to a hall filled with men?  Since then I have seen her on religious talk shows where she voiced her disappointment at the reception she had received.  She is a world-renowned religious speaker who has addressed numerous groups containing both males and females.  Was she treated unbiblically in Dallas?  The answer will infuriate many people.  Warning, a time is coming shortly when no religious group will dare to reject a speaker on the basis of sex, gender, religion preference, sexual preference, sexual orientation or any other criteria deemed unacceptable by the politically correct world.  In the spirit of inclusion, if one believes in a god, deity or external power of any kind one must be accepted as an equal.  The only exception to this rule will be one who believes and obeys the God of the Bible.  The push toward “we all serve the same god” movement is already in motion as I reveal in a series called The Ingathering: The Rise of the End-time Church.  Key word–Ingathering.

Normally, the one who answers the “woman preacher question” does so according to the teachings of one’s church group.   Rarely, if ever, will someone respond with the Words of God’s prophets and apostles.  The response to “the question” usually begins with “I was always told that …,” or “My denomination teaches that ….”  However, such responses are irrelevant.  The only right answer is God’s answer.  The same is true concerning many church doctrines and practices as I note in the Introduction to this website.  When pressed for the source of such church “truths” no one can produce a Biblical reference for even one.  In five instances that I am personally aware of, pastors have admitted that the teachings of their respective denominations are in direct opposition to the  Holy Scriptures.  However, not one of them saw fit to change to make the change.  Though they could not find one passage to confirm their beliefs, they clung to them.  The reason they could find no passages is because the do not exist.  The reason they do not exist is because they were all adopted from heathen religions by the Catholic Church.  The Protestants retained those beliefs and customs when they left in “protest.”  For more information on this subject see Simon of Samaria: The Legacy.  Key word–Simon.  Not one of the Babylonian Mystery Religion doctrines and practices the Catholic/Protestant Religious System puts forth as “Thus saith the Lord” can be found in the Book they all claim to believe.  Nevertheless, they all “know” that they are God’s Truths.  Over time, Satan’s lies have become God’s “truths” which may not be challenged.

One such belief that is rapidly gaining in popularity concerns the place of women in the church.  The Women’s Liberation Movement is coming back into the limelight due to the social upheaval taking place in this and other “Christian nations.”  The female-ministry question will be addressed more and more with the passage of time.  So what is God’s reaction to what is happening?  Let us study His Word to find out.

To answer this important question we will not use anyone’s personal opinion, nor anyone’s interpretation of the Scriptures (which God condemns–2 Pet. 1:20), nor any church’s doctrinal statement, nor the teaching of any “Bible scholar.”  We will bypass all other sources of “Bible truth” and go straight to the One who holds all Truth–Almighty God.  We will use only the Words found in His Holy Scriptures.  As the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy the evangelist, the Scriptures are given to Truth seekers in order to make them “wise unto salvation.”  Recall that Eve, upon hearing the Serpent’s lie, sought out the forbidden tree and saw that it was a tree that would “make one wise.”  The Serpent had promised that its fruit would give her the “wisdom” to determine good and evil, a power that God reserves for Himself.  Upon eating of its fruit Adam and Eve became their own gods. That is what one does when one rejects God’s Word as written and “interprets” it to mean something more to one’s liking.  This is what the Counterfeit Church has been doing for over 1900 years.

Over the past several decades women in the world’s more advanced nations have trod social, political, economic, military and religious paths their ancestors could only dreamed of walking.  The path we will discuss in this series will involve religion.  We will focus on female’s evolving status in the church and compare what has been taking place in modern times to what God says on the subject.  Let us discern His will with a heart open to embracing it, then living (“walking”) it.  Otherwise, learning and believing it is a waste of time.

As a spokesman for the Lord, I know that what I say and write offends the vast majority of church people who hear or read me.  This series will be no exception.  I always expect a negative reaction from church people for two reasons: because God promised it and because it is His Word.  The church hates His Word.  Persecution is part of the “cost” that one must “count” before becoming one with Him.  He promised that true believers would be hated and rejected by the church world because of their belief in and obedience to Him, meaning His Word.  The reason Catholic and Protestant ministers are not so treated is because they are not God’s ministers.  They are, in His Words, false prophets, also called hirelings.  That said, let us go forth with this study.  All I ask is that you compare the Scriptural passages I provide to the teachings of your church.  Only one is right and will “make one wise” like Timothy.  The other will “make one wise” like Eve.  L.J.
