Let it be understood: THE INSTITUTIONAL CHURCH IS GOD’S PRIMARY MISSION FIELD AS WELL AS HIS PRIMARY ENEMY. God established this ministry to bring light to those trapped in the darkness of Catholicism/Protestantism. Those with eyes to see and ears to hear will accept the light of God’s Truth. This ministry is rejected by professing Christendom because it is based on God’s Word and seeks to bring His Word to those who “know” they are already obeying it. This light-bearing ministry is despised by the church because she lives in Satan’s darkness which she professes to be God’s light. Because the false church lures her victims into the devil’s darkness using his false light, God calls her doctrines, customs and practices (her light) not merely darkness, but “great darkness” (Mat. 6:23). Those living in darkness hate the light of God (Jn. 3:19) that is revealed in His Word. God is light (1 Jn. 1:5). Jesus (the Word-Jn. 1:1-4/Rev. 19:13) declared that He is also light (Jn. 8:12). The church demonstrates her rejection of both Father and Son (Lk. 10:16) by rejecting most of their Word/light–the same Word by which she will be judged (Mat. 12:48). The above statement is rejected outright by the whole of modern Christianity. Truly, “Satan has deceived the whole world” (Rev. 12:9).
Like her ancient counterpart written about in Daniel 8:12, the modern church has cast God’s Truth/Law/Word/light to the ground, particularly the passages that debunk the importance of “feelings” when it comes to the salvation process. Feelings, which Satan can manipulate, play no part in the attaining of eternal life. Feelings are fickle; they CHANGE AS CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE. In an instant one can go from feeling good about a situation to feeling bad if the situation changes. This is true EVEN WHEN THE SITUATION HAS NOT CHANGED. Satan is the master of feelings. Feelings can cause a man to be “double-minded.” God states that “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways” (Jam. 1:8). For this reason God gave us His ways in written form. A summary of His ways is found in the stone-etched Ten Commandments–His Law–which the church has rejected outright by rejecting Commandment #4. The Lord said through the Apostle James that to reject one of His Commandments is to reject them all, making one a Law-breaker (Jam. 2:10)–a “worker of iniquity” to whom Jesus will say on Judgment Day, “I never knew you; depart from Me you who work iniquity ….” (Mat. 7:23).
The irony of this situation is that gospel-rejecting churchman gains his good “feelings” from obeying Satan’s perverted version of God’s gospel (Gal. 1:6). Because churchman trusts his false prophets, he “knows” he is saved, etc. because those who preach that perverted gospel tell him he is saved. Being ignorant of what God actually says about salvation, man goes his merry way, “knowing” that the devil’s lie is God’s Truth and “feeling” good about it. Satan’s success is dependent upon keeping his parishioners ignorant of God’s Word and fluent in his word. By looking in a phone book under “CHURCHES” one can see how incredibly successful Satan has been. L.J.
