As the Lord tells us repeatedly, there is much more to true, Bible-based faith than simply believing in Him. There is more to it than believing that His Word is Truth, as Jesus declared in John 17:17. We are told in James 2:14 that those two factors are not enough to save the soul of the believer. FAITH IN GOD AND HIS WORD WITHOUT OBEDIENCE TO THAT WORD–“WORKS”–IS DEAD FAITH. A universally-accepted law of nature states that a dead entity can accomplish nothing. Faith is no exception to that law. In that we must live by faith, one having dead faith is himself equally dead. A dead believer, in his present spiritual condition, has no chance of inheriting eternal life. As repeatedly stated in God’s Holy Bible, faith requires obedience to the source of that faith–God’s Word–in order for faith to accomplish its designed purpose. The one who has faith but does not obey (work) that faith suffers from two spiritual afflictions: 1) he is deceived by Satan (Rev. 12:9) and, 2) he has dead faith (Jam. 2:17,20). Those in the Institutional Church, being believers but not doers, are spiritually dead as this website and my YouTube site have repeatedly proven using the very Bible those parishioners profess to believe, quote and display on their coffee tables.

For some time I have been dealing with a lady who epitomizes the plight of religious people who blindly embrace the counterfeit doctrines, customs and beliefs of the Counterfeit Church. She is joined by masses of church people, all of whom march lock-step with Satan’s false prophets as they lead them on a blind, head-long rush toward the Lake of Fire where he awaits with open arms. Nature provides a perfect replica of this mindless phenomenon. At a certain time of year thousands of lemmings blindly follow their leaders over ocean-side cliffs and into the mouths of hungry sharks waiting below. A statement made by the Apostle Paul to the modern church’s spiritual ancestors perfectly describes the plight of church people then and now who, like lemmings, do not know where they are going: “But if our (true saints’) gospel is hidden, it is hidden to them (in the church) that are lost. The god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of the lost so that they are unable to believe the glorious gospel of Christ and allow its light to shine on them” (2 Cor. 4:3,4). Paul addresses the same kind of people in his letter to the church at Galatia: “I marvel that you are so soon removed from (have abandoned) Him Who called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel” (Gal. 1:6-9). Paul goes on to explain that their new gospel was not really new, but was simply a perverted version of God’s true gospel. He noted that those in the church who had embraced the perverted gospel were “cursed” by God. Note it: people in God’s church were cursed by Him. The Bible-toting, Scripture-quoting super religious lady I have been witnessing to, along with her equally deceived brethren in the global church system, are CURSED BY GOD. As was the case in the church in Galatia, modern false prophets use just enough Biblical Truth to cause Biblically ignorant parishioners to believe that they are on the right track. They all share a common deadly affliction–REJECTION OF GOD’S WORD.

Paul’s statement to the false believers in the Corinthian church perfectly describes those within the modern church system who reject God’s faith-producing Scriptures. Two billion plus self-proclaimed Christians blindly walk in the darkness of the master deceiver who has deceived professing Christendom into walking his walk, Adam and Eve being prime examples. Satan’s most prized captives are those of Catholicism/Protestantism who have embraced his Babylonian doctrines that form the foundation of the modern church. I have been accused of being negative by telling people what God says. Ironically, those who complain are perfectly willing, even anxious to hear their leaders tell them three times a week about all the goodies God supposedly has waiting for them following their supposed rapture. L.J.
