Falling From Grace (Pt. 2)

In part 1 of this series (and in over 800 other postings) I proved that the vast majority of self-professed “Christians” cannot fall from grace because they have never been in grace. Now let us look at grace falling from a different perspective.

There is what I call a “reverse fall from grace.” In such cases one is accused by a religionist–usually a minister–of falling from grace because one believes the God of the Bible, obeys that Bible and proclaims that both God and His Bible are legitimate. In these cases the accuser believes he is one with the Lord because of his involvement in the Institutional Church System. The accused is declared guilty because 1) he is not part of that system, and 2) he openly condemns that system. For example, a local preacher accused me of having fallen from grace because I dared to publically state in a series of newspaper articles what God said in His Holy Bible, the same Bible my accuser claims to believe. Because I openly condemned Christendom’s heathen theology he was certain that I had taken the terrible “fall.” I had long ago confessed my sins to the Lord–many of which concerned what the church calls”Bible truth”–repented of them, begged for forgiveness of them, and, by the grace of God, received justification. Ironically, my accuser–a popular, established, seminary-trained pastor of a main-line church–had not done so, though he was certain that he had. My well-meaning though Biblically-challenged nemesis’  problem revolved around the definition of sin. If one does not know what sin is, one cannot confess it, repent of it and be forgiven of it. My accuser and over two billion people like him do not know God’s definition of sin. And when it is revealed to them in that Book they all claim to believe, they summarily reject the very Words found in that Book. And Satan smiles, knowing that his hold on them is iron-clad.

Ironically, some two billion unwitting parishioners whom Satan has lured into the world’s largest religions system (Catholicism/Protestantism) REJECT GOD’S DEFINITION OF SIN. Being ignorant of exactly what God-defined sin is, these poor souls have never confessed their sins, repented of them and, through God’s grace, been forgiven and delivered of them. Why does God’s definition of sin remain a mystery to the church? Because the church has eliminated the one and only new Testament proclamation by which He defines sin: “To transgress the Law is sin, for sin is the transgression of the Law” (1 Jn. 3:4). Having nailed God’s sin-defining Law to the cross, church people deliberately reject His definition of the sin it identifies. Not knowing what sin is, they do not recognize their guilt and therefore have not confessed their sins, repented of them, asked forgiveness for them and received justification (Rom. 2:13)–forgiveness of all PAST sins (Rom. 3:25). Because I had brought 1 John 3:4 and other such verses into the public domain, I was accused of having “fallen from grace.” And being a diligent worker for his god, my accuser informed me that I needed to “get saved” and become like him and others of his religious ilk.
