The question that must be asked and answered relative to the demon situation is: “Why is Satan now flooding the world-wide web, television and the movie and print media with realistic representations of his fallen angels and their work within man’s world?  For thousands of years he has kept them hidden from the human intellect by convincing mankind that they did not exist, that they were were imaginary beings based on fake Bible stories.  Why is he now presenting them as powerful, walking, flying, talking, reasoning, entities?  I believe the devil is preparing mankind for real demonic activity that will take place in the final days of this age.  I believe that he is conditioning the human psyche to accept demonic activity as a normal part of everyday life.  I have been saying this for decades.  As I watch the gradual increase of his supernatural presentations the more convinced I am that he wants such things as demons, witchcraft, witches as well as other manifestations of the occult to be accepted as natural.  Again, “Why?”  Is this an attempt on his part to prepare mankind for something much more powerful than what we are seeing?  God says “Yes.”

In the Book of Revelation we read about a powerful religious figure called the False Prophet who, during the days just prior to Christ’s return to earth, will perform signs and miracles in order to prepare the world’s masses for the arising of an all-powerful “Beast” government that will come to dominate the entire planet.  This government will be led a man called the Antichrist.  The False Prophet will perform miracles to convince the masses to accept the Antichrist’s as the second coming of Jesus Christ and the Beast’s government as the Kingdom of God promised by Jesus.  The False Prophet, also known as the Second Beast, will use signs and miracles to draw all people into Satan’s one world church.  Everyone on earth, with the exception of God’s Very Elect, will worship the Beast and its image (church).  Read Revelation 13.  Pay special attention to verses 4-13 which describe the Beast and its image (church).  The universal church (depicted as a woman in Revelation 17:1-5) will be led by the False Prophet who will come on the scene as a lamb but will speak like a dragon (Rev. 13:11-17).  He will force all of mankind to worship the Beast government and its “image” which he (the false prophet) will cause to “speak.”  There is more to the “image” of the Beast than will be presented in this posting.  For more information concerning the global church that Satan is raising up at this time read The Ingathering: The Rise of the End-time Church and Simon of Samaria: The Legacy.  Key words: Ingathering and Legacy respectively.

The point I am making is that Satan cannot spring the things written about in Revelation 13 on mankind all at once.  He must introduce his demonic world gradually by influencing each succeeding generation to accept more supernatural activity had the previous generations.  When a child grows up with something, he assumes that it has always been in existence.  Today’s most basic technology was nothing more than the fanciful daydreams of comic book writers to past generations.  Satan knows that the world he has planned for the future must be brought into reality gradually.  I believe this is why he has, over the years, introduced otherworldly and supernatural themes to the public through comic books and fiction writers initially, then through radio, then television, and later through movies.  Today they appear in our living rooms on huge screens, in living color with animation so realistic that children actually believe they are real.  Let us not forget that those children will become adults.  And when Satan’s False Prophet begins to perform miraculous in the presence of those future adults they will accept them as we today accept man walking on the moon.  And when he presents the Antichrist (leader of the Beast government) as the Biblical Christ, the world’s masses will believe him.

Satan hates mankind and wants all human beings to burn in the Lake of Fire.  His work to prepare them to reject Christ at His return is proving to be supremely successful.  I was told by a seven year old that the Pokemon and Mindcraft characters that are so popular are in fact real.  No amount of reasoning can change the child’s mind.  To him, they are real, you know, like Santa Claus and the Tooth fairy.  And he is not alone.  When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, a child answered: “A rabbit.”  In her mind that will not be a big deal.  From whence came such an idea?  Satan and his minions.

That a large segment of the human population accepts as “normal” such things as witchcraft, magic, worship of heathen gods, etc. is revealed by two examples.  In Little Rock, Arkansas a few years ago a group of people were allowed to place the statue of a half-man, half-goat heathen god called a “baphomet,” on the grounds of the state capitol.  They wanted to place it there “… for the kids.”  The sponsors needed $28,000 in order to transport the statue, set it up, etc.  The public quickly raised the money.  Then they needed a political push to make the presentation official.  The powers that be went along with it.  Bear in mind that Arkansas is part of America’s “Bible Belt” composed of those states that are known for their “Christian principles.”

Then in 2016 the Arch of Baal was erected in New York City with all of the pomp and ceremony of any other government sponsored event.  Baal, as Bible students know, is a heathen god written about in God’s Word.  How do people approach such occultic and heathenistic doings in the nation that is inundated with churches, that is supposedly “Under God”–the same God she supposedly “Trusts.”  This is the same nation in which almost every household has a Bible which is carried to church on Sunday morning?

In 1692 in Salem, Mass. there was an outbreak of what was labeled “witchcraft.”  People were tried, found guilty and put to death.  Nineteen of them were hanged; five others died in jail.  One man was crushed by having rocks placed on his chest.  So how does the city of Salem react to her world-known history of Satanism?  Simply put, they revel in their notoriety.  For example, their nickname for their municipality is “Witch City.”  The school sports teams are called “the Witches.”  Police cars have witch logos painted on their sides.  Witches own businesses in the downtown area where they sell witchcraft paraphernalia and openly practice their religion.  During Halloween the city is flooded with thousands of visitors who come to enjoy the festivities.

Obviously, Satan’s work is paying off.  Look for more supernatural activities to become part of man’s daily life as the beginning of the Great Tribulation approaches.  And look for man to have the same reaction as Witch City.  L.J.
