There are people who pray several times each day, study the Bible extensively, attend church several times each week, fast regularly, tithe, witness, etc. but remain separated from God because of sin (Isa. 59:2). There are people who have preached throughout their adult lives, baptized hundreds, built church congregations, served as missionaries, have world-circling television and radio ministries who, due to lack of obedience toward God’s Word, have remained separated from Him by a wall of sin. I know about all of these because for many years I was one of them. In other words, the above characterization describes me to a “T” relative to my pre-conversion-life. Having lived for many years in the belly of the religious Catholic/Protestant beast, I am eminently qualified to speak and write about the subject which the Lord has commissioned me to do. This ministry is designed specifically for those in the Institutional Church who are, as I once was, totally deceived by Satan who uses his false prophets–pastors, Sunday school teachers, evangelists, missionaries, relatives–to spread his spiritual poison around the globe. This poison God calls “great darkness.” All religious doctrine is called “darkness.” Church doctrine is called “great darkness” because it is presented as the Biblical God’s Light–His Truth. It is “great” darkness because those who embrace it are convinced that their light is God’s light. Having embraced the devil’s false light/great darkness, they are convinced that they are saved and born again.

Showing church people the Biblical Truth about their spiritual condition is comparable to telling them that their parents kidnapped them when they were children. It simply cannot be true. Why? Because those around them have told them the “real truth,” normally called “God’s truth.” Therefore they are what they claim to be, what they “know” themselves to be. A friend of mind has a sign on her office wall that reads something like this: “This one thing I know, I am a child of God.” This dear lady “knows” what Satan has deceived her into believing (Rev. 12:9). What she “knows” is a lie. Such false “knowledge” is what God refers to as “great darkness.”

Recently a high-ranking governmental official was being interviewed by a self-proclaimed “Christian” television commentator. When asked about his spiritual life, the official replied that his spiritual life was good because he knew the Lord. Wrong on both counts: his spiritual life was not “good” because he does not obey God’s Word. He does not know God because he practices the same sins as the world’s other 2,000,000,000 self-defined “Christians.” As Isaiah 59:2 states, the official’s sins separate him from God. The expressed purpose of this series is to warn those who believe themselves to be God’s people while remaining affiliated with Catholicism/Protestantism. In this series (as well as the entire 1000+postings) I will prove Scripturally that they are being taught a lie, and if they believe what they are being taught they are believing a lie, and if they are living what they are being taught they are living a lie.
