As stated in the previous posting, I will write less about other doctrines of God that the Institutional Church has rejected than I did about His Sabbath. Because rejection of one doctrine equates to rejection of the entire Bible in the eyes of God, and Satan having already deceived professing Christendom into rejecting the 4th commandment, there is no need to go into detail when discussing other rejected doctrines.

Easter: Second in importance only to the Sunday Sabbath, the annual honoring of the mother of Tammuz (aka Baal) the sun god is a sacred observance practiced by those trapped in Satan’s religious web known as Catholicism/Protestantism. During this annual celebration involving rabbits and eggs–symbols of reproduction–the Goddess of Fertility, known as Ishtar anciently, was being celebrated within the heathen world hundreds of years before the time of Christ. Many pagan societies worshiped (and continue to worship) female deities who were called by many different names, some of which (Diana and Ashtoreth for example) are found in the Holy Scriptures and condemned by the Lord. The English speaking world changed the spelling and pronunciation of Ishtar to Easter. Social scientists reveal that more money is spent relative to the annual Easter celebration than is spent during the Christmas season.  Where money is to be made, religion is soon to follow. Christmas: Third in importance behind the Sunday Sabbath and Easter is the celebration of the birthday of at least 7 heathen gods. During this annual festivity several things take place that defy the very Words of God.

One of the traditions practiced during the ” Yule Tide Season” involves bringing a tree into the home and decorating it. In some heathen societies their respective gods, all born on December 25th, came to the home and left gifts under the tree on the night of his birth. God speaks to this issue in Jeremiah 10:1-5: “… learn not the ways of the heathen ….. For the customs of the people (heathen) are vain, for one cuts a tree out of the forest … with an ax. They deck (decorate) it with silver and with gold and fasten it with nails and with hammers ….” When confronted with God’s Word concerning Christmas, Easter and the Sabbath, many will say, “But I do it to honor God.” This is irrelevant. They are heathen observances– abominations unto Him. God commands that we not do what the heathen do for their gods. Period. He did not add the caveat: “Unless you do it to honor Me.” We honor Him by obeying Him. Having a “better idea” exalts one above Him, which is idolatry.

Original sin: Another of Satan’s deadly deceptions is the “fact” that, following Adam’s sin, every human being born thereafter has Adam’s sin gene transfused into his/her spiritual dna at conception. Nowhere does God say this. The origin of this deception is traced back to an area in North Africa called Hippo where a Catholic priest named Augustine found himself dealing with an epidemic in which many children were dying. Their parents insisted that they be baptized immediately after birth to insure their entrance into heaven. Knowing that the sole purpose of water baptism is to rid the person of past sins, and knowing that the children had not sinned, Augustine had to devise a solution that would satisfy the parents. With Satan’s help he formulated the “truth” that all people receive Adam’s sin at conception. Therefore the children were born sinners. Problem solved. Since then religious men have used the “Adam made me do it” excuse to explain why they must sin. But the convictions of convenience did not stop there. The devil has deceived them into believing that, because sin is inevitable due to Adam’s fall, Jesus died to enable them to defy (despise) God and get away with it. They are, after all, nothing more than “sinners saved by grace.” One famous “minister of righteousness” put it more eloquently, telling his t.v. congregation that they were “… nothing more than a society of sinners.” This was spiritual music to their spiritual ears which refuse to hear God’s Truth.
