Christianity’s Duality Syndrome: Two Gods, Two Churches, Two Gospels (Pt. 4)

By the time the Apostle Paul came along the Counterfeit Church, through the work of Satan’s false prophets, had not only infiltrated God’s church, but had seduced many parishioners into rejecting “the faith once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 1:3) and embracing the faith constantly delivered to the doubters.

In his second letter to Timothy, Paul warned him (and us) about false ministers, whom he called “evil imposters” who not only deceive their followers, but are themselves deceived. Their ministerial descendants continue their soul-destroying work today under the headings of Catholicism and Protestantism. These imposters, whom God says are purveyers of “great darkness,” preach messages that please men, not God (Gal. 1:10). Not knowing God’s Truth and not willing to listen to those who do, these self-proclaimed “Bible scholars” judge themselves by themselves (2 Cor. 10:12), not by the Holy Bible. They give lip service to God while directing their followers’ hearts away from His Words (Mat. 15:8). God condemns them for doing Satan’s dirty work. They, along with those who follow them, are “workers of iniquity” (Lawlessness) whom Jesus vowed to reject on the Day of Judgment (Mat. 7:22). They convince their parishioners to reject God’s Words by keeping them ignorant of the Scriptures while interpreting them to confirm to their church’s doctrines. This in spite of God’s condemnation of those who interpret His Word (2 Pet. 1:20/ 1 Pet. 1:25). In order to prove my point I will compare a few of their doctrinal “truths” to God’s Biblical Truths. The fact that eternal life hangs in the balance makes this comparison a life and death concern.

Church: Salvation requires only faith in the fact that Jesus died for man’s sins and accepting Him as one’s Savior. God: Salvation comes only to the righteous who believe and obey His Words (Rom. 6:10/ 1 Pet. 4:18).                                                                                                                                                                   Church: Salvation is received immediately upon the completion of a church-prescribed ritual.  God: Salvation will be awarded at Christ’s return. We grow closer to salvation with the passage of time (Rom. 13:11).                                                                                                                                                                                    Church: Sin is unavoidable due to mankind’s inheritance of Adam’s sin. Repentance following each sin keeps one in God’s good graces. God: He who sins belongs to the devil (1 Jn. 3:8,10; 2:3-6; 3:3,7).             Church: The Law was nailed to the cross and therefore plays no part in the life of a Christian. God: Only those who keep the Law know Christ; those who break the Law and say they know Him are liars (1 Jn. 2:3,4). The Law defines sin (1 Jn. 3:4).                                                                                                                         Church: Only faith is needed for salvation on the part of the Christian. God: Without works (obedience to the Law), faith is dead. Faith alone cannot save the soul (Jam. 2:14,17,20,26).                                             Church: Faith replaced the Law. God: Faith establishes the Law in man’s heart. The Law must be obeyed in order to be justified (receive forgiveness of past sins) (Rom. 3:21; 2:13).                                                        Church: God gave man denominations so that he can create his own brand of Christianity. God: There are no denominations in God’s church (1 Cor. 1:10).                                                                                                  Church: The Godhead consists of three beings: God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. God: The trinity theory did not exist for the first 300 years of New Covenant Church history. Roman Emperor Constantine  established the trinity in 325 A.D. at the Council of Nicea in order to appease heathen church members who worshipped a three-headed god. The first trinity consisted of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

All in professing Christendom call Jesus “Lord. He has vowed to reject those who call Him “Lord” but do not obey the Words of His Father (Lk. 6:46/ Mat. 7:21-27). It is upon the aforementioned “doctrines of devils” that false Christians have built their monument to Satan which they call “the church.” God has vowed to send “strong delusion” to those who claim to be His children but refuse to obey His Words (Law). This delusion, He said, would cause those who reject His Words to “believe a lie” (2 Thes. 2:7-12)–Satan’s words.

Church people embrace the Lamb of God but reject the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Contrary to church- wide belief, such false Christians will not face the Lamb Who will be filled with endless grace, but with the Lion Who will be filled with the white-hot wrath of God. L.J.
