We have identified professing Christendom’s two gods (the Biblical God and the god of the earth) and her two churches (Catholicism/Protestantism and the Church of God). Now let us examine her two gospels (the Biblical gospel which she refers to and the church’s gospel which she observes). The true gospel of God is mentioned 102 times in the Holy Bible. Those same Scriptures warn about the other gospel numerous times. Let us look to the Source of all spiritual Truth in order to identify each.

In Acts 1:3 we find the resurrected Christ identifying the Father’s Biblical gospel by name: THE GOSPEL (GOOD NEWS) OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD. In this passage we find that Jesus has returned to the Mount of Olives in order to meet with His disciples. He spent the next 40 days teaching them about “the things concerning THE KINGDOM OF GOD.” We are told that during His 3 1/2 year ministry “He went about preaching THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD” (Mk. 1:14). In Mark 16:15,16 He makes it clear that in order to be saved one must believe THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM. Here He tells His apostles to go into all the world where they were to “… preach THE GOSPEL to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; he who does not believe will be condemned.” One will notice that in every case, the definite article “THE” is used in reference to the gospel. This tells us that the Godhead recognizes and sanctions ONLY ONE GOSPEL–THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

The Lord warned about another gospel that is still being preached in the church by Satan’s false prophets. The Apostle Paul wrote about this heresy in His letter to the churches of Galatia. Here he referred to a “perverted” gospel that was gaining acceptance within God’s church (1:6-9). He warned that obedience to that gospel would lead to the downfall of the congregation unless they repented and returned to THE true gospel. This series presents a warning to the modern Institutional Church that she and her ancestors have been hearing, believing and obeying a perverted gospel for more than 1900 years. The vast majority of professing Christians believe that the “gospel of Christ” (Rom. 15:19) is a gospel about the person of Jesus. This is a Satanic deception. Jesus did not preach about Himself. The “gospel of Christ” was Christ’s gospel–the gospel He preached and commanded His apostles to preach until He returns to establish that kingdom on earth. It was THE kingdom message that He commanded all of His messengers to preach in Matthew 24:14. There He said that when “… this gospel of the kingdom” had been preached throughout all the world He would return. Through the various mediums of information dispersion that message is being preached throughout the entire world today. Jesus did not preach about Himself. Nor did He tell His messengers to do so. His and their message was and continues to be THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

The Holy Scriptures tell us that we must believe and obey the Lord’s gospel in order to enter His coming kingdom. Though many will be called to do so, few will be chosen for having done so (Mat. 20:16). That which must be believed and obeyed in letter and spirit is His LAW–THE BIBLE FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION WHICH IS CONDENSED INTO TEN COMMANDMENTS WHICH HE WROTE IN STONE WITH HIS FINGER. Only those who believe and obey that Law, including commandment #4, will rule and reign with Him. In James 2:10 we are warned that to break one of the commandments is to break the entire Law. Professing Christendom breaks commandment #4 every 7th day (Saturday) and substitutes her own Sabbath commandment in its place. This in spite of God saying that not one jot or tittle can be added to or removed from His Law. The church rejects His Words. And Satan smiles.

The Apostle Paul warned the Church of God about false prophets who were preaching a perverted version of God’s true gospel. Let us examine the perverted gospel that professing Christendom has been believing and obeying for some 1900 years. Paul warned that those who believe and obey that false gospel will become accursed–anathema (separated from God) as are those who preach it. In spite of Paul’s warnings, false prophets today continue to preach Satan’s false gospel to billions of ear-itching parishioners who demand to be told ONLY those things that scratch their itch. Like their Israelite ancestors, they will hear only those words that confirm what they already believe. They refuse to hear God’s “sword of the Spirit” that exposes their false religion. As did their ancient ancestors, modern churchites tell their leaders: “do not see (the things of God), …. Do not prophesy to us right things; speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. Get out of the (God’s right) way; turn aside from the (God’s) path. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us” (Isa. 30:10,11). In other words, “Stop telling us the Truth.” If you do not believe that today’s religionists are the spiritual clones of Isaiah’s detractors, try reading God’s Truth to a pillar of the church and see how long he/she will listen.
