The Associated Press, a world-wide news gathering and dispensing organization has just announced the latest threat to the United States.  Ignoring the immediate dangers this nation faces, it seems that this danger is far more serious than war, disease, invasion, inflation, etc.  The threat, labeled “Christian Nationalism,” involves a segment of the American population that believes that the concept is in fact true.   Christian Nationalism is the belief that the United States of America was created by God to serve as His light to the world by obeying the teachings found in His Holy Bible, and that the nation will be blessed or cursed according to her obedience to His Biblical dictates exactly as was ancient Israel before her.  Readers of this website will find the theory very familiar for it is exactly what I and others believe based on the Holy Scriptures.

I have to wonder what grabbed the AP’s attention relative to the theory that has been around for the entire history of this nation.  Over the years did not those in the AP hierarchy notice the words: “One Nation Under God” and “In God We Trust” printed on her currency?  Didn’t the existence of thousands of churches offer up a clue as to the nation’s Christian tendencies?  Why is Christian Nationalism just now registering in the left-dominated, God-hating mind of the Associated Press’ hierarchy?  I have a theory based solely on my personal thoughts.

Could it be that because Christianity in the United States is a multi-bodied, multi-minded, loosely-knit, contending, conflicting, competing, two-headed religious mess, the idea that she could exert any significant social or political power never occurred to them?  Could it be that the church has been the originator of so many of man’s sins?  Read the Introduction to this website for a list of some of those sins.  Could it be that the church in its present form is a paper tiger whose God promises her power but who, in reality, is powerless?  Could it be that the Book her parishioners put forward as the Word of God is basically ignored by them?  I can see why the AP could dismiss the so-called “church” as a bad joke being played on over half of the American people.  That is precisely my opinion of Catholicism/Protestantism–a counterfeit version of the true Church of God.  So why is the AP suddenly painting the Institutional Church as a “threat to democratic governance?”

Could it be that the voice of God going forth world-wide from a few God-founded, God-led, God-empowered ministries is beginning to get the attention of the nation’s people?  Could it be that as the nation sinks ever lower into the sewer in which she finds herself she is desperate to find a scapegoat to blame other than her own failures?  Could it be that things have been happening to the nation exactly as God prophesied would happen if she failed to obey His Law, just as those few ministries have been warning would happen?  Could it be that the AP, along with almost all other news outlets, are desperately looking for an excuse to eliminate those few voices crying out in the moral, political, economic and social wilderness that the United States has become?  Could it be that the national collapse that those ministries have been warning about is taking place right before their eyes?  Could it be that the voice of God can no longer be ignored?  COULD IT BE THAT THOSE IN POWER FEEL THE NEED TO ELIMINATE GOD FROM THE AMERICAN EXISTENCE SO THAT THE PEOPLE CAN BE GOVERNED WITHOUT HIS INTERFERENCE?  One of the things that the AP says it fears is CHRISTIANITY’S THREAT TO NATIONAL DEMOCRACY. 

Let that sink in for a moment.  The prefix “demo” refers to man.  The suffix “cracy” refers to rule.  Democracy is defined as rule by the people.  Could it be that the powers that be are afraid that the true Word of God being put forth by His true ministers will cause a significant number of Americans to rise up and reject the man-centered, autocratic rule that governmental and social organizations want to exert over every aspect of the nation’s individual and national life?  Could it be that the people might demand to be ruled by Biblical principles as the forefathers had planned?  That would be catastrophic for those who secretly yearn for a Communistic form of government.  This group consists of the Democrat Party and some in the Republican Party.

I do not know that anything I have written in this posting is true.  But I believe that there may be a modicum of truth found somewhere in my ramblings.  I do know that when important news dispensers and those who believe them fear the rulership of God over the lives of the people, those people and the nation they comprise are in deep, deep trouble.  I stated about a year ago that I believed God is going to expose the liberal consortium that is now running this nation for what it is–a godless, man-centered, Satan-empowered secret Communist conglomerate.  What I see going on now is the Lord shaking things up so that we and the world can see how corrupt liberalism in all of its forms actually is.

My question is, what will this nation do when her Satanic darkness is exposed by God’s light?  Will she turn from her wicked ways and embrace the God Who created this once-great nation?  Or will she do what she has always done when He made Himself known to her through her “Great Awakenings”?  Will we actually turn to Him, embrace and obey Him?  Or will we simply double down and become more religious?
