In the 2023 series titled Christian Nationalism: God’s Word on the Subject, I make the historically-based case for what is rejected by the vast majority of Americans–“Christian Nationalism.” Key word–Nationalism. Please take the time to read that series before proceeding with this important subject that is on the verge of creating a world-changing movement. In the earlier series I point out that the two nations that God established to be His “light to the world” were both predicated on obedience to His Law, making them church/state entities, meaning that the state and the church were one and the same. A major factor in both cases was the celebration of the seventh day Sabbath.

However, as this teaching will show, what is being proposed today falls far short of being God’s world-enlightening light in the form of a church/state union which characterized both America and Israel at the beginning of their respective histories. In fact, what is being proposed now is the exact opposite, in spite of the ultra-positive sound-bytes and headlines flooding the world’s religious scenes. The original church/state nations were based on God’s Ten Commandment Law. What is currently being proposed for he entire world is a church/state union based on man’s (actually Satan’s) concept of good and evil. The problem with what is being touted as a “good for the whole world” movement is that, as I point out in the series titled The Ingathering: the Rise of the End-time Church (key word–Ingathering), it has everything to do with the Mark of the Beast and its relation to man’s modern day sabbath. If what is being put forward as a good thing for mankind is adoptee, the sabbath and the mark will go hand-in-hand.

For decades there has been an “under the radar” movement within the Catholic hierarchy to establish national laws that would enforce what were once called “Blue Laws” which forbad businesses from opening on Sunday. In times past Blue Laws have been incorrectly conjoined with Satan’s Sunday sabbath since 364 A.D. when Pope Sylvester I did away with God’s seventh day (Saturday) Sabbath and instituted Catholicism’s first day (Sunday) sabbath in conjunction with the Roman Empire’s new sabbath established by Emperor Constantine in 321 A.D. along with Easter being substituted for Passover which had been celebrated since the time of Israel’s escape from Egyptian slavery. The sabbath change was instituted in order to appease sun worshiping “converts” in the Catholic Church on the day they worshiped their god–the sun–on his day–Sunday. Since then, “the sabbath” has been celebrated on Sunday throughout professing Christendom. When the so-called “Protestants” left the church, they took many of her heathen beliefs and customs with them, the Sunday sabbath being one of them. Another was Rome’s Easter observance. Though the so-called “Christian world” has embraced Satan’s sabbath, not everyone within that world has gone along with the church’s apostasy (falling away from the Lord). God has always had a remnant–a minutely few true saints who refuse to heed Satan’s siren call to follow his false prophets through his wide church door (“gate”) and walk his broad church path (“way”) that leads to his false paradise. However, as Jesus warned, many have heeded their hirelings’ false gospels (Mat. 7:13,14; 22:14; 24:4,5). The calls for apostasy began soon after the founding of God’s Church in 31 A.D. Read Galatians 1:6-9 and Second Corinthians 11:4. The devil’s most powerful lure has always been the Fourth Commandment in which the Lord commands the observance of His seventh day Sabbath (Gen. 2:1-3/Isa. 58:13/2 Pet. 1:21).

In keeping with the dictates of Catholicism’s god (Satan–2 Cor. 4:4), Pope Francis is attempting to convince world political leaders to pass legislation that would mandate a global “Blue Law” which would enshrine Sunday as the “Day of Rest” for the entire world. Because of the power of the Catholic Church throughout the civilized world, a Sunday Sabbath Law will eventually be established just as I noted in the Ingathering series. I also wrote that the forced observance of an international Sunday rest day would usher in the use of the “Mark of the Beast” which would dictate who could buy, sell, work, etc. It is useless to pass a law unless there is an established method of enforcing it. In the near future the “false prophet” (the reigning pope–leader of a one-world church), using the power of the “beast” (a one-world government), will force all of mankind to break the true God’s seventh day Sabbath Law, thereby causing everyone on earth to live in sin. But not everyone will bow down to Satan and his followers. Only a minutely few people will stand against the world-wide Sunday Sabbath Law. Read Revelation 13:16,17.
