Each year I make it a point to remind readers of how the Institutional Church came to be in the spiritual condition in which she now finds herself.  The time for my annual reminder series has arrived.  True Bible students know that her final condition is plainly foretold in the Scriptures.  The history of the nation of Israel (God’s church in the wilderness–Acts 7:38) is the history of the false church and the nations in which she is found.

In my annual reminder I highlight some of the foundational principles upon which the Catholic and Protestant Church Systems were built and upon which they continue to embrace.  In the eyes of God, those two systems constitute a singular, Satan-empowered, Satan-directed religious entity that is in fact more deadly for salvation seekers than the various “isms” that cover much of the planet.  Why?  Because Catholicism and each of the Protestant sects present themselves as “the church” which God has assigned the task of saving the world.  The darkness professing Christendom proclaims is “great” (ultra dangerous) because it is put forth as the light being used by the Biblical God to draw mankind to Him (Mat. 6:33).  And because man loves darkness more than light (Jn. 3:17), the effect of her existence is deadly.  Therefore, it is essential that those who are called upon to expose Satan’s darkness for what it is, do so on a continuous basis.  I alone produce some 350 church-exposing messages per year.  Then once a year I publish for readers of the website a reminder of the Satanic foundation stones (doctrines) upon which “the church” rests and which she proclaims as God’s Truth.

Because God views the two “churches” as one and the same, I refer to them as one entity–the Catholic/Protestant Church System.  In this series I will follow the pattern I have used before in revealing the heathen beliefs and customs that the Institutional Church has embraced.  The irony is that, although the Author of the Book praised by over two billion people today plainly states that these beliefs and traditions are abominations to Him, those who carry that Book to church on Satan’s Sabbath proclaim that those beliefs and traditions are prescribed by God Himself.  When I show people His Truth concerning them, I get hostility in return.

Jesus warns those who seek “Truth in the inward parts” to “Beware of (Satan’s) false prophets” he has placed within their midst here at the end of the age (Mat. 7:15; 24:3,4).  Because Satan’s “ministers of righteousness” (2 Cor. 11:13-15) outnumber God’s messengers tens of thousands to one, we work continuously while it is day, for night is comimg when no man can work (Jn. 9:4).  That night is coming soon.  In Matthew 24:5 Jesus warned that in the days leading up to His return false prophets would “deceive many.”  Today, some 2 1/2 billion people are deceived into believing that evil is good, darkness is light and bitter is sweet.  God pronounces a “woe” upon them because they are “wise in their own eyes” (Isa. 5:20,21).  The Apostle John says that by rejecting God’s Word we “deceived ourselves and the Truth is not in us” (I Jn. 1:8).

God’s messengers are told to expose Satan’s false prophets (Eph. 5:11) by instructing the people to “try the spirits” of their church leaders (1 Jn. 4:1) in order to detect any “doctrines of devils” (1 Tim. 4:1) they have convinced the church to embrace.  The following are a few of those doctrines.  We will compare Satan’s version of God’s Word, which Jesus called “Truth” in John 17:17, to God’s pure Word found in His Holy Scriptures.

SATAN: “The Law was nailed to the cross and is no longer in effect.”  GOD: “To transgress the Law is sin, for sin is the transgression of the Law” (1 Jn. 3:4).  “The Law is holy, just and good” (Rom. 7:12).  “If you love Me, keep My commandments/Words.”  “He who does not love Me does not keep my sayings” (Jn. 14:15-24).  SATAN: Sunday is the Lord’s Sabbath.  GOD: “Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy” (Exo. 20:8-11).  God called the 7th day Sabbath: “My holy day” (Isa. 58:13).  Jesus is still the “Lord of Sabbath” (Mat. 12:8).  The 1st day (Sunday) sabbath was instituted by Pope Sylvester I at the Council of Laodicea in 364 A.D. in order to appease the large number of sun worshipers that had been forced into the Catholic Church at the point of a Roman sword.  Their spiritual descendants continue to worship the sun god on its day–Sun day–the “venerable day of the sun.”  SATAN: “Crosses, fish symbols, pictures, statues, etchings, stained glass windows, steeples, etc. are accepted by God because they honor Him.”  GOD: “You shall make no graven (hand made) images.”  The cross was being used in heathen sacrificial rites some 1200 years before the time of Christ.  The fish was the symbol of Dagon the fish god of the Philistines.  Pictures, statues, etc. are also rejected by the Lord.  SATAN: “God established denominations so that people with different beliefs could interpret the Bible in the way that suits them.”  GOD: “Let there be no divisions (denominations) among you” (I Cor.1:10).  Christ is the singular head of the one singular church recognized by God.  More than one church body necessitates more than one head.  To divide the church is to divide Christ.  “Is Christ divided?” (I Cor. 1:13).  Those in God’s church are called God’s sheep–His one flock which have one Shepherd.  “The wolf (Satan) scatters the sheep” (Jn. 10:12) by dividing them into sects (denominations) so that his prophets can more easily control them.  SATAN: “Jesus died on Friday afternoon and arose on Sunday morning. He was in the tomb one day and two nights.”  GOD: “The Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of he earth” (Mat. 12:45).  “Destroy this temple and I will raise it up in three days” (Jn. 3:19).  The four gospels record the three day and three night time element 13 times.  Jesus was to be in the tomb the same number of days and nights as the Prophet Jonah was in the fish’s belly (Jonah 1:17/ Mat. 12:39,40).  The church believes the Jonah time element but not the Jesus time element.  Truly, “Satan has deceived the whole world” (Rev. 12:9).  L.J.
