Philosopher and author George Orwell noted the following: “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”  How true we are now seeing that statement to be in this “woke” age in which reality is whatever the individual desires it to be at any particular moment.  So powerful is the “woke” (“reality fluidity”) movement that anyone who exposes its lunacy is attacked with everything the (“progressive”) Left has at its disposal, which includes the news media, the educational establishment, the entertainment industry, the sports industry, the technology industry and approximately one half of the American population.  Because “As Goes The Church, So Goes The Society,” when discussing spiritual and social matters, I tend to present them in tandem in that they always meld into one entity to the point that one cannot distinguish between them.  They are indeed joined at the heart.  For every social ill, I can point to a Biblical warning from God against that ill.  Like it or not, religion plays a seminal part in every social act.  And in the church realm, that act is always negative and anti-Bible.  For example, where did the idea for America’s welfare system (being paid not to work) originate?  It began in the Institutional Church with her “no works, no Law–only believe and receive” theological foundation made popular by billions of so-called “Sinners Saved By Grace” enthusiasts.  And where did the liberals get the idea for the “catch and release” program employed by so many district attorneys today originate?  It came for the church’s “come as you are; stay as you are; Jesus loves you just the way you are” theology the SSBG crowd talks so much about.  Few are those who believe God and speak out against Satan’s Counterfeit (Catholic/Protestant) Church System that has much of the world firmly ensconced in its deadly grasp.

True believers in the Biblical God find themselves living in a state of universal deceit relative to the Biblical God and His plan for mankind in general and the United States in particular.  Along with a few others, I am speaking out using revolutionary rhetoric in the face of counterfeit Christianity whose millions-to-one numerical advantage means that God’s people are rarely seen and heard.  We know that only God can protect His messengers and His few followers from those who serve His enemy, billions of whom “know” that they are worshiping and serving the Biblical God.  Regardless of the odds against us, my money is on us.  And honestly, I enjoy the fight.  Nothing builds power like resistance.

In 1939 as the world was struggling through the final years of God’s curse on mankind called The Great Depression, Orwell wrote a book which he titled 1984.  In what was then perceived as a never-going-to-happen fairy tale, he took the reader forward in time to a world struggling for survival under the absolute rule of an all-knowing, all-powerful entity that controlled every aspect of individual life on earth.  Nothing the individual thought, said or did was his or hers alone.  In that world the word “private” could not be spoken or thought.  In that world there was no such thing as private property, private thoughts, private words, etc.

In that world globally-centralized control of all human life was maintained by an entity known as “Big Brother.”  There was no escaping him as He watched, listened to and knew each individual’s every move, thought, word, intention.  Whether in the past, the present or the future, Big Brother knew all and controlled all, including reality.  Big Brother determined what reality was and was not.  One’s senses were proved to be liars if they contradicted his dictates.  He not only controlled the State, He was the State.  And the State was all–all that mattered.  Human beings were mere cannon fodder, useless eaters, instruments to be used, used up and discarded like yesterday’s trash.

I read 1984 during the mid-1960’s and, though I found it to be a fascinating read, I “knew” that such a world could never become a reality.  And certainly not my part of the world with its freedom and unlimited individual possibility.  How wrong my “knowing” would prove to be.  Some 20 years later my wife and I were in Europe where gasoline was over $3.00 per gallon.  At that time fuel was about 50 cents in the U.S..  In my all-knowing wisdom I voiced my relief that $3.00 gasoline would never come to the United States.  Wrong again.  I have learned from human experience and thousands of hours of Bible study to never say “never” where human beings are concerned.

As I look around me I see Orwell’s world materializing at a breath-taking pace.  We Americans are subject to an ever-increasing array of human surveilance mechanisms which are gaining more intrusive and more widespread with each new invention.  I recently read that scientists are working on an apparatus that can read one’s thoughts.  Indeed, Big Brother is alive and well in the United States of America.  And in that the U.S. leads the world in every social and material realm, what happens here in short order affects the rest of mankind.

I doubt that Orwell believed that what he was writing in 1939 would ever become a reality.  However, as we began to realize with the rise of Nazism in Europe during the 1930’s, then later by the rise of Communism in Asia in the 1950’s–Orwell was spot on.  His only error was in his timing which was off about 40 years.  What he depicted taking place in 1984 is in reality taking shape in the United States and other parts of the world in 2022.

As similar as the two times are shaping up to be,  there are a few differences between Orwell’s world and present day America.  For one thing, Big Brother is not the name of the one who would be our king and dictator.  Today’s Big Brother wannabe is the one I call Big Jobama (aka “the big guy”). His minions who crave dictatorial power of the masses are in reality closet communists who hide behind the innocent-sounding facade of “Socialism.”  Due to a stolen election (which God is going to expose), the Communist Left (aka “democrats”) have gained total control of the America that once was.  Joe Biden is at this time a dictator in waiting.  Behind the scenes, Barach Obama is calling America’s shots.  He is the actual “hand” inside the “glove” that is Joe Biden.  The “America last” crowd now in control of the government pushes hand and glove ever leftward as they force Orwell’s nightmare into reality.  Scripture tells us that Jobama and the “America last” group cannot bring about the total destruction of the once God-blessed and greatly used United States of America.  Only the Biblical God can destroy this nation, and He is in the process of doing exactly that.  The question I have answered many times on this website concerns why all of this is taking place.  Therefore in this posting I will focus on the how aspect of what is going on.

If one watches Fox News one will notice that liberal politicians, their so-called “Main Stream Media” lap-dogs along with their entertainment stooges (Hollywood, professional sports, the music industry, democrat politicians and money man George Soros) are all being exposed for what they are–God-hating, Satan-serving, self-satisfying, America last communists whose immediate goal is the subjugation of the American people to their dictatorial, 1984ish, concentration camp dreams.  If you want to know what the liberals now in power want for this country, look at North Korea, China, Russia, Vietnam and Cuba.  They are classic communist states where a tiny group of people rule and control the helpless (aka gunless) people with an iron fist.

One will notice that the first thing that must be done in order to gain absolute control over a nation is to take away the people’s mode of self-protection.  How this is done in a representative republic is a totally political undertaking whose goal is for people to voluntarily give up their weapons.  The process is quite interesting  Question:  Where did the 18 year old boy who recently killed 21 people in Uvalde, Texas get the thousands of dollars needed to buy those two very expensive guns and all of that ammo?  He certainly did not make that kind of money working at Wendy’s.  How did the boy, a felon, buy a gun of any kind?  Who helped him buy the weapons and ammunition?  And how did the shooter know that he could inter the building using a rear door when all rear doors were supposed to be locked?  Again, why did he use a door which he and everyone else knew was locked at all times?  Being of relatively sound mind and having a modicum of common sense, I’m asking questions that need to be answered.  I am not accusing anyone of anything.  But those questions need to be answered.  And because I live in the real world, I do NOT expect the answers to be forthcoming from those whose job it is to bring them forth.  And yet, there is hope from on high.

As I stated in several postings a year or so ago, I believe God is giving America one last opportunity to do what He commands us to do in 2 Chronicles 7:14–humble ourselves, seek His face, confess and repent of our sins, turn to Him in total obedience to His Word, turn from our present direction and go in the exact opposite direction relative to our thoughts, words and deeds, resulting in a complete and permanent reversal of life.  If America does not take advantage of what God is doing for her; if the nation does not turn from her wicked ways and embrace the God of the universe, obey His Law and serve Him, He will make 1984 seem like a pleasant dream by comparison.  This is America’s last chance.  God will “pass by her no more.”  If she shuts Him out–again–she will follow her ancient ancestors into military defeat, slaughter and the enslavement of the survivors in the lands of her new masters.

Will America follow in Israel’s spiritual footsteps?  Will she, as did her Israelite ancestors, turn her back on Him–again?  Regardless of the answer, only individually can we be individually protected from the Great Tribulation and Day of the Lord that are rapidly approaching.  I believe that within the next four-to-six years the 3 1/2 years of hell on earth prophesied by Jesus in the Book of Revelation will begin.  Only those who have spent those years in absolute obedience to His Law will be protected in “her place”– a place of safety which I believe to be a mountain range in Jordan called Petra where God will protect and provide for His “little flock” as the world around them explodes in World War III.  I have been to Petra and am as sure as I can be without hearing God’s audible voice to the contrary that the thousands of caves that have been carved out of the beautiful red sandstone is where I will be spending the final “time, times and half a time” (3 1/2 years) before the return of Jesus Christ.  I do not wish to be there alone.  Please join me.  L.J.
