Christ’s initial, and all-important, warning to His people at the beginning of the church age (Mat. 24:4,5) concerned Satan’s false prophets and their program of false teachings, many of which have come from Babylonian mystery religions. Those beliefs and practices became the foundation stones of professing Christianity and remain so to this day. The Introduction page to this website highlights several such church doctrines. The purpose of this series is to detail some of those beliefs and customs by which Satan lures the Biblically ignorant into his false church system. Having been part of that multitude I understand the allure of false religion. Using just enough Bible Truth to convince the Biblically challenged of its legitimacy, the Satan-empowered, man-run organization has captured the hearts of salvation seekers the world over. Her doctrines and customs have been handed down from generation to generation like family jewels. This series is designed to expose some of Christendom’s “Bible truths” for what they are–Satan’s lies wrapped in smooth talk and sealed with a winning smile–two of the main characteristics necessary to serve in his vast, globe-encircling religious conglomerate known collectively as “the Church.” Let us now continue to obey the Lord’s commands to “Study to show (our)selves approved of God” (2 Tim. 2:15), to “Prove all things” pertaining to the spirit (1 Thes. 5:21) and to “Test the spirits” of those who lead us to see if they are who and what they claim to be (1 Jn. 4:1). This was the unspoken message Jesus delivered some 2000 years ago in Jerusalem. Let us now examine another Satanic lie proclaimed as Bible truth by his counterfeit church.
“God allows each denomination to interpret the Bible according to its theological beliefs and practices.” “Know first of all that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private (idios–personal) interpretation, for holy men of old spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Pet. 1:20). They or their scribes then recorded their proclamations on scrolls. God preserved those scrolls to be used in the Scriptural education of this generation. As the Apostle Paul said, they were to be used for instructing those “upon whom the ends of the world have come” (1 Cor. 10:11)–those of us living today in the Laodicean era of the church age (Rev. 3:14-20). The Lord revealed to Daniel what would take place during the centuries leading up to the end of the age. He then revealed to John what would transpire during the final years of that age. He instructed them to write what they had been shown in “books” (scrolls) and seal them “until the time of the end”– the end of the world in which we are now living. At that time Christ would unseal the scrolls and reveal to His true prophets what was written inside. God’s end-time servants, having received revelation from Christ concerning end-time signs and happenings, are now telling those with eyes to see and ears to hear what has happened in the past, what is happening now and what will happen as the time of His return draws near. This website is dedicated to those in the Institutional Church whose hearts are hungry for God’s Truth. It is my desire that those who read this website0 will try my spirit, see that it is in tune with God’s Holy Spirit and do what the Lord tells them to do in His Holy Word.
The very first thing God tells true seekers to do is to take Him at His Word. False prophets have from the beginning of the church age led people to believe and obey Satan’s perverted versions of God’s Word. The Apostle Paul continually fought against this heresy (Gal. 1:6-9), knowing that their goal was to entice church people to accept, believe and obey “another Jesus” (2 Cor. 11:4). Over time the “angel of light’s” “ministers of righteousness” (2 Cor. 11:13-15) have convinced the masses to believe their interpretations of the Holy Scriptures. Those interpretations formed the basis of the Catholic/Protestant Church System’s many versions of God’s Word which has produced the false gospels, false Jesus’ and false churches that pollute the earth at this time.
Because man refuses to study “the whole counsel of God” as Paul commands in Acts 20:27, they (myself included in the past) read and hear only the “headlines” found in God’s Word and do not study His “fine print.” The “headlines” tell us what God promises us. For example, “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” The “fine print” tells us how to qualify to receive those promises–obey God’s Word. Read Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 and the third chapter of First John for some of God’s “fine print.”
Because salvation seekers rely on their hirelings to tell them God’s Truth, they find themselves manifesting His warning found in Proverbs 14:12: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but that way leads to destruction.” Man’s way “seems” right to him because he has not studied God’s way–His “fine print.” GOD IS IN THE FINE PRINT. It does no good to know WHAT is available if one does not know HOW to appropriate it. Merely believing (having faith for) a Biblical promise does not automatically produce it because “Faith without works is dead” (Jam. 2:10,14,16,18,20,24,26). Faith enables us to believe the WHAT. WORKS (obedience to God’s Word) qualifies us to receive what is promised. Satan has convinced salvation seekers that they only need to believe in order to receive what is promised. However, as God tells us, belief (faith) is not enough. WORKS based on one’s faith (taking God at His Word and obeying it) are necessary in order to receive the promises He made t0 us in Leviticus 26:1-13 and Deuteronomy 28:1-14. God’s reaction when we do not do works of obedience as proof of our faith is stated beginning with verses 14 and 15 respectively.
God warns us about Satan’s false prophets: “Wicked and deceitful men have spoken against Me with lying tongues” (Ps. 109:2). “Evil men and seducers wax worse and worse” (2 Tim.3:13). False prophets seduce people into believing Satan’s interpretations of God’s Word by keeping them dependent on them (false prophets) for His Truth. For this reason the people do not study His Truth/Word/Gospel. As a result they do not learn His Law and therefore do not obey it. “The mystery of iniquity (Gk.–Lawlessness) is already at work” (2 Thes. 2:7). REJECTION OF GOD’S LAW IS THE FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLE OF MODERN CHURCH LIFE. This is the same Law Isaiah said the future Messiah would “magnify and make holy” (Isa. 42:21). It is the same Law Paul characterized as “holy, just and good” (Rom. 7:12). Truly, Satan has deceived the whole world into believing his interpretations of the Holy Scriptures (Rev. 12:9). My job is to expose him, his perverted gospel and those he uses to spread his religious poison among the world’s masses. Unfortunately, church people continue to embrace His lies and unknowingly worship and serve him.
The Bible interprets itself and therefore does not need man’s interpretation. One must dig deep into the Holy Scriptures in order to find God’s mind concerning His will and way for mankind. Man refuses to do this. It is so much easier to let his ministers do the work, then share their findings with him. Unfortunately, their leaders dig no deeper than they do. One must study with a heart open to the Holy Spirit which will teach him all things concerning God’s Word. To do this one must set aside all church doctrine and allow God to reveal His will and way which He has recorded in His Holy Bible. In Isaiah 28:9-13 He tells us how to study His Word. Let us use God’s prescribed study method so as to allow His Word to speak its Truth to our hearts. And KNOW THIS FIRST OF ALL, THE WORD OF GOD IS NOT TO BE INTERPRETED BY MAN. GOD DOES NOT NEED OUR HELP. L.J.
