Christ’s warning about false prophets who would present themselves as His servants (Mat. 24:4-8) was foremost in His mind when preparing His disciples for the future church age that would begin not long after their conversation.  The proof of any prophecy is its manifestation.  Has professing Christendom detected the fulfillment of any of the signs He predicted that fateful day.  Let us examine the signs and the 2000 years or so since He prophesied them in order to see if He knew what He was talking about.

In verses 4,5 Jesus warned His people about a great false church that would entice “many” salvation seekers to embrace her false gospel through the ministerial talents of Satan’s false prophets.  Some 60 years later He would refer to that church system again when prophesying to the Apostle John about the days just prior to His return.  In Revelation 17:1-5 He depicted her as a Great Whore named “Mystery, Babylon,” who would produce Harlot Daughters.  The Great Whore we know now is the Catholic Church.  Her Harlot Daughters are the Protestant Churches.  Together they have spiritually enslaved billions of people through the talents of their hirelings who tell them what Satan wants them to hear.  Currently that whore system dictates the spiritual lives of some two and one-half billion unsuspecting victims.  Therefore we know that Christ’s first sign–false Christianity–was a true prophecy.

Knowing that the false church, along with the nations that would house her, would not obey His Law, Jesus then prophesied other signs by which He would punish those nations.  These signs would include wars, famines, diseases and earthquakes.  In other places in the Scriptures–specifically Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28–He prophesied other types of curses covering a wide range of “woes” that would increase in both number and severity until His return.  Have any of those signs materialized over the years?  Yes, all of them, and they have increased in number and destructiveness over the centuries as those who call themselves by His name have grown farther and farther away from Him.  Those who know their God and His Word know that the worst is yet to come as Satan gains ever more control over the church.  As goes the church, so goes the nation.  The church has spread its spiritual disease throughout most of the world.  Meaning that much more and much worse will be descending upon planet earth in the future.  When His signs have all come to pass, and man has grown ever more rebellious, He will send the sin-saturated world into what He calls a Great Tribulation, followed by the Day of the Lord, both of which are looming just ahead.

While we await their prophesied arrival, let us look at some of the features of the counterfeit church’s false gospel which keeps His curses arriving with mind-numbing predictability, doing their devastating work, then moving on so that the next curse can zero in on sinning mankind.  Their primary target is the Catholic/Protestant Church System.  God’s anger is focused on her because she presents Satan’s spiritual darkness as God’s spiritual light.  Because of her colossal hypocrisy and the devastation she has caused billions of God seekers, the Lord calls the religious system  “great darkness” (Mat. 6:23).

The Holy Spirit-led Bible authors warn us to beware of the “voice of strangers” (Jn. 10:5), to try the spirits of our ministers (1 Jn. 4:1) and to “prove all things” relative to church doctrine (1 Thes. 5:21) using God’s Word.  This series will do two things: it will highlight the church’s “doctrines of devils” for what they are (1 Tim. 1:4) and it will expose Satan’s “wolves in sheep’s clothing” for who they are (Mat. 7:15).

We will now delve into the doctrinal offerings that tie all of the various religious factions involved in the two-headed, multi-bodied religious beast known as “the church.”  This examination will enable us to understand why Christ’s first warning sign for His people was the rise of counterfeit Christianity.  Her two heads are known as Catholicism and Protestantism.  A more dangerous organization does not exist on earth because it presents itself as something it is not–God’s church.  Let us now examine some specific heathen doctrines the false church claims to be Biblical but are not, as this website was designed to prove.  I will present these Satanic doctrines in the following form.  I will state a church “truth” in church language.  Then I will present God’s Word on the subject.  As you will see, one is the voice of light, the other is the voice of darkness.  I have found that when shown God’s Truth, 99% of church people the light and cling to the darkness in which they, and the world with which they identify, feel comfortable.  Let us begin.

“The Law was created for the Jews.  At Christ’s death God nullified it by nailing it to His cross.”  The Apostle Paul, who received his gospel directly from Jesus Christ through revelation said: “The Law IS holy, just and good” (Rom. 7:12).  “To transgress the Law IS sin, for sin IS the transgression of the Law (1 Jn. 3:4).  Jesus told His disciples: “If you keep My commandments you will abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father’s commandments and (therefore) abide in His love” (Jn. 15:10).  When asked what one must do in order to receive eternal life, Jesus replied: “… if you would have (eternal) life, keep the commandments” (Mat. 19:17).  Jesus said that if we love Him we would keep His commandments (Jn. 14:15), which He called His Words in verse 23.  He told those who believed in Him: “If you continue in (obey) My
Word, then you are My disciples indeed” (Jn. 8:31).  In John 15:13,14 He told His disciples that greater love has no man than to lay down his life for His friends.  He then said: “You are My friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.”  He identified His spiritual brethren as those who: “… do the will of My Father in heaven.”  The Law/commandments proclaim God’s will.

What was nailed to the cross was the “handwriting of ordinances”– a book (scroll) written by Moses and placed outside the Ark of the Covenant (Col. 2:14).  Paul noted that those ordinances, which contained the sacrificial law, were “against us.”  The “holy, just and good” Law that reveals how to be saved was never against us and is not against us today.  The Law is God’s expression of love toward man by which He reveals what man must do in order to spend eternity with Him–obey it.  Obedience to the Law constitute the WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS necessary to qualify for eternal life.  Salvation, Paul tells us in Romans 5:21 and 6:22, is the end result of living righteous and holy life.

The “Law nailed to the cross” heresy is one of Satan’s most effective lies, one which the Whore and her Harlot Daughters have embraced with the same vigor with which they embraced the Adam’s sin gene transferal ruse which has caused untold damage to church people. L.J.
