Apotheosis is defined as man elevating man to God status.  One man has done what Satan tried but failed to do: BECOME A GOD.  Over the past several days we have seen apotheosis take place on an international scale.  A man who had been imprisoned five times, spent years locked up for everything from armed robbery to drug possession, who, when apprehended, was carrying a bag of drugs and trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill while high on meth and cocaine is now mankind’s new super hero, having been elevated to that status by literally millions of people around the world literally over night.  Amazingly, an international committee has taken it upon itself to anoint a new god.  This is truly global apotheosis.  Jesus Christ appearing in the heavens could not generate a turnout like this. Though the masses, including their “Christian” members, would not recognize Him if He introduced Himself, not one of those millions will forget what their new god looks like.  Many of those kneeling before his mental image in worshipful repose wore crosses around their necks and tattooed on their bodies.  One worshiper declared that “God’s son had come home to Him.”  One can almost hear the angels singing his praise under Elvis’ direction.  One huge mural depicted him with wings and a halo.  How can this be since he had not played with a ball, or starred in a movie, or sang on stage in years.  He wasn’t even a liberal politician convicted of embezzling millions from his people.  In other words, he had done nothing to deserve worship like we mere mortals would have to do.  He was, however, a “family man” to his illegitimate daughter.  We can rest assured that he was planning to give her “baby momma” some of whatever he was going to buy with the illegal bill.  If, that is, he didn’t need a few nickel bags to tide him over till evening when he would go by her house for his cut of her welfare check.  He had probably spent his last real money on the bag of dope that he dropped on the sidewalk after being arrested.  Hopefully this local hero’s live-in girlfriend will get some of the thousands, if not millions of dollars his parishioners will raise in his honor.  I sense that there will be a book deal signed soon.  I’ll wait for the movie.  Question: when will the first sighting take place?  Will the Vegas odds makers be taking bets on the date?  King George’s illegitimate child has just been awarded a full scholarship at Texas Southern University.  Will we be seeing a wave of baby mommas coming forth with dna proof of their child having been fathered by the world’s new deity?  Now that we have a new heavenly god, should we be expecting an earthly Christ-man to appear?  Did someone say Colin Caepernick?  Or perhaps M.L.K., aka “da Lawd” will rise from the dead.

Blasphemy is an abomination to the real God.  We have just witnessed it on an international scale.  Let me be clear: some of the most precious souls I have ever known and loved were black.  One elderly lady to whom I taught the Bible went so far as to “adopt” me.  So before anyone accuses me of being racially prejudiced– don’t.  I am totally prejudiced, but it has nothing to do with color, only character.  Seems like I remember reading something to that effect in the Holy Bible.

As readers soon learn, I always go back to the beginning of whatever I am writing or speaking about.  Question: what started the chain of events that led to Lord George’s death?  Was it not a crime that was being committed by his majesty?  If there had been no crime, there would have been no murder.  And it was a murder.  Hopefully the officer will get what he deserves from the legal system.  Some other cop should have pulled him off of righteous George.

The cry of “NO JUSTICE–NO PEACE” has become the world’s mantra.  I wonder what would happen if the owners of those burned out and looted buildings filled the streets with pictures of their destroyed properties and stolen inventory shouting those same words.  I wonder what would happen if the people who were put out of work marched while carrying pictures of their pay checks that will no longer be coming.  I contend that they would all be attacked by George’s congregation as the liberals’ media lap dogs cheered them on.

Concerning going back to the beginning, I will leave you with a final thought.  How about newspapers, magazines and t.v. news programs showing signs that read: “NO CRIME–NO DEATH.”  That, liberals would scream, is real blasphemy.  Thanks for allowing me to vent.  I rarely wax political.  But I am watching my beloved country go to hell in a handbasket and, though I knew it was coming, I weep for her, what she once was and what she will never be–GOD’S LIGHT TO THE WORLD.  U.S.A.  R.I.P.  L.J.
