Joshua’s words to Israel telling them to choose between the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob or Satan created a positive response on the part of the Israelites who vowed their allegiance to the God who had recently freed them from Egyptian slavery.  However, as both Biblical and carnal history have shown, they eventually rejected Him, were defeated and were no longer a nation.  Joshua’s words and the lesson they taught have been completely ignored as the United States has followed lock-step in her ancient ancestors’ spiritual footsteps.  What was once a greatly-blessed, single-God, homogenized gathering of like-minded people has become a greatly-cursed, multi-god, totally mongrelized conglomerate of disparate groups.

This anti-biblical situation began to developed after America dropped her requirement that those wishing to become Americans must have talents and skills that would benefit her and, most importantly, that they believe in her Biblical God and agree to live according to His principles.  Having shelved her very strict immigration rules, America began opening her doors to anyone and everyone who wanted to partake of the natural riches with which God has so greatly blessed her.  In so doing she opened up herself to every spiritual disease Satan sent her way.  The result was a religiously and culturally disparate collection of people having widely conflicting beliefs and practices, most of whom rejected the God Who founded this once shining “city on a hill” which He created to serve as His “light to the Gentiles” (heathen).  As a result, America has become as dark and heathenistic as those nations who were supposed to “come to her light” in order to ESCAPE THAT DARKNESS.  Instead, they brought with them the very darkness from which they were supposedly trying to escape.  What has resulted is a spiritual, moral, political, social, economic Olympics.  The only difference is that, unlike the sports Olympics, these participants will not be going home.

The result of this mixing of lifestyles and beliefs is what is commonly called “multiculturalism.”  Concerning God’s will for His people, multiculturalism is anathema as He tells us many times in His Holy Scriptures.  The mixing of religions and ways of life invariably leads to a leveling of the spiritual playing field.  In this condition, all religions become equal in value.  The common spiritual mind-set becomes either “we all worship the same god,” or “one god is as good as any other god.”  As I show in the series titled The Ingathering: The Rise of the One-world Church (key word–One-world), the United States, as Barach Obama said, “… is not a Christian nation.”  He rightly proclaimed that we are a nation of many religions and many gods.  His god was Allah.  Americans elected a God-hating Muslim to its highest office.

Because of this nation’s acceptance of whoever wants to enter her and whatever they bring with them, heathenism has become ingrained in the collective psyche of American society.  Sin has become the connective tissue of the American body.  As a result of her rejection of Him, God has repeatedly poured out His wrath on her.  The bottom line is this: ANY RELIGION OTHER THAN PURE, BIBLE-CENTERED, GOD-OBEYING CHRISTIANITY IS AN ABOMINATION TO THE GOD OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES.  Interpretation: The United States of America is an abomination to Him.  As Jesus warned in Matthew 24:4,5 and Revelation 12:9, many have been deceived and Satan is the one doing the deceiving.  Individual and national sin has separated church people from Him (Isa. 59:2) and rendered them low hanging fruit for His enemy.  And as I have proven on this website, as goes the church, so goes the nation.  Both are going to hell if drastic changes do not take place individually if a reversal of character does not take place individually and corporately.

As was pointed out in the previous posting, God commands His people to segregate themselves on the spiritual level from all others because He and Satan, His people and Satan’s people, light and darkness, good and evil have NOTHING in common (2 Cor. 6:14-7:1).  In that passage the Apostle Paul, writing to the church, stressed the fact that it is only AFTER TRUE BELIEVERS HAVE SEPARATED FROM THE CATHOLIC/PROTESTANT CHURCH THAT GOD WILL BE THEIR GOD AND THEY WILL BE HIS PEOPLE.  We must never forget that leaven leavens the loaf; the loaf does not unleaven the leaven.  God’s true saints must segregate themselves spiritually from those living in spiritual darkness while living among them geographically.  Read God is a Segregationist.  Key word–Segregationist.

God’s true “alone-in-a-crowd” saint is like a “city set on a hill” where she serves as “a light to the (Gentile-heathen) world” (Mat. 5:14/ Isa. 49:6; 42:6).  The Lord tells us that those in the world who have eyes to see and ears to hear will “come to your light” (Isa. 60:3) which will illuminate “all who are in the (saint’s) house” (Mat. 5:15).  Notice that those in darkness will see the saint’s light coming from his “house” (life).  Those living in darkness who seek God will COME TO THE SAINT’S LIGHT, HEAR GOD’S TRUTH–THE LIGHT OF LIFE–AND EMBRACE IT.  THE LIGHT RECIPIENT THEN BECOMES THE LIGHT OF GOD WITHIN THE DARKNESS WHICH SURROUNDS HIM.  GOD SEEKERS IN HIS NEIGHBORHOOD SEE THE LIGHT SHINING IN HIS HOUSE, GO TO IT, EMBRACE IT ….  And the cycle continues.  As was the case with Jesus while on earth, few will come to His light, embrace it and walk in it.  Many, He said, would be seduced by Satan’s false light (Catholicism/Protestantism) and walk in it.  Others in darkness have been lured into Satan’s other religious organizations, of which there are many.  As He said concerning the straight gate and narrow way of holiness that leads to eternal life, “… few there be that find it” (Mat. 7:13,14), and yet, NONE GO TO BATTLE.   FEW WILL DECLARE WAR ON SATAN AND HIS COUNTERFEIT CHURCH SYSTEM.   

Because of this, America, along with Britain, has lapsed into a deadly state of spiritual lethargy.  This has led to the moral, social, political, financial and military morass in which those nations find themselves today.  And worse is yet to come.  When darkness (sin) is allowed to abide within light, darkness invariably extinguishes the light to the point that light exists in name only.  As Paul warned in 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1, when darkness (sin) is allowed to hob knob with light, sin wins and holiness loses.  Why?  Because God will have no fellowship with Satan.  Therefore, God commands true believers to “come out of her (professing Christendom) and be separate, touch not that unclean thing.”  When NONE GO TO BATTLE, when sin is allowed to exist within a church, that sin will grow and spread until the entire church becomes infected.  There is a four-step process by which this transition takes place.  Step one: the sin is ignored as if it did not exist.  Step two: the sin is recognized, but is allowed to remain.  Step three: the sin spreads and becomes accepted as “normal.”  Step four: the (former) sin is believed to have been designed by God Himself.  Homosexuality is a perfect example of how a most egregious sin becomes, not merely accepted by God, but designed and blessed by Him.  This is an evolutionary process by which profound darkness becomes profound light.  Anyone voicing resistance to the new “truth” is denounced and rejected.

While sin is evolving into righteousness, another process is automatically taking place.  I call this process “reverse evolution.”  In the scenario which inevitably comes to fore, Biblically-defined holiness becomes church-defined evil–what was once good is now bad.  This happens because men come to “love darkness more than light” because God’s spiritual light exposes their religious darkness (Jn. 3:19).  God issues this warning to reverse evolutionists: “Woe to them that call evil good and good evil; who call darkness light and light darkness, who call bitter sweet and sweet bitter.  Woe to them who are wise in their own eyes” (Isa. 5:20,21).  They become not merely wise, but wiser than God.  Remember Adam and Eve?  Satan convinced them that they, not their Creator, should determine good and evil.  “The church” has follow in their spiritual footsteps.  See the Introduction page to this website.

So the  “woes” keep coming on the so-called “Christian nations” in the form of wars, diseases, race problems, crime, invasion, tornadoes, hurricanes, droughts, floods, extreme heat and cold, financial depressions and recessions, etc.  And yet, NONE GO TO BATTLE.  L. J.
