In preparation for studying this series I recommend the reading of two series that will make this information easier to understand. The two series are Who Are God’s People? and “My People Who Are Called by My Name.” Key words: People and Called respectively.

Some Biblical Truths need to be brought forth following the incredible event that took place on November 6, 2024. In the history of politics no man seeking public office has been so hated, despised, rejected, persecuted, prosecuted and lied about as was Donald J. Trump over the past eight years. The depth of resentment toward him was revealed by two assassination attempts, not to mention a $150,000 reward promised to anyone who could kill him. In spite of the openly exhibited hatred by half of the American population and most world leaders, he was elected AGAIN, this in spite of the millions of dollars spent on advertising by the political Left, combined with the one-sided rhetoric that was constantly spewed out by the Marxists’ media propaganda wing.

In part one of this series I explained why God took Trump out of the White House for four years and why He has returned Him to the most powerful position on earth. One will note that, though I credit the Lord for both actions, I said nothing about Trump’s relationship with the Biblical God, nor about the spiritual condition of those who publicly prayed for him, which at times included the “laying on of hands.” Though these acts are Biblical, they do not necessarily indicate the spiritual condition of the one about whom people pray, nor do those actions reveal the spiritual condition of those doing the praying. My Bible-based message is this: IN THE SPIRIT WORLD, THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR TO BE.

The lesson to be learned by that series is that just because God uses someone in a powerful, even miraculous way does not mean that the person is right with Him. Nor do quoting Scriptures, wearing crosses and performing miracles say anything about the person’s spiritual condition. As a result, the title “Christian” is repeatedly applied to billions of people for whom the term does not apply, if the Bible is to be believed. At present there are billions of self-proclaimed “Christians” on planet earth, the vast majority of whom are Christians in name only. The two series I recommended prove this Truth beyond a doubt.

God uses people to do spiritual, even miraculous things who are not Christ’s spiritual brethren. Read “Who Are My Brethren?” Key word–Brethren. Remember, Judas had the same preaching, healing, deliverance ministry as did the other disciples (Acts 1:16,17,23-26). By divine design this website focuses on professing Christendom in the hope that it will positively affect those in “the church” who realize, as did I, that they are in the wrong place both spiritually and geographically, and that God is calling them out of wherever they are as He proclaims in Second Corinthians 6:14-7:1. If you have not done so, read that passage, believe it and obey it. Then and only then will God be your God and you will be His child.

As an illustration of how the Almighty often uses bad people to do good things, I will relate the story of a prophet of God named Balaam and his donkey which the Lord used to verbally give him a message from on high. Note that He used an ANIMAL to TEACH a LESSON to a man GOD CALLED HIS PROPHET. Read Numbers chapters 22-24. Note that Balaam was a prophet of God with Whom He communed and received instructions. Unfortunately, Balaam disobeyed his God. In 31:8,16 we are told that he led people to commit sins against the Lord and was killed. The lesson is: “You shall know them by their fruits,” not by the size of their congregations, the Bibles they carry, the crosses they wear, etc. Neither Balaam nor the donkey were true children of God. Yet Balaam was called a prophet of God and the donkey spoke.

The question of who is and who is not a true Christian comes down to what kind of Christian one actually is. There are two kinds of “Christians” today. ONE IS EITHER A BIBLE-DEFINED CHRISTIAN OR A CHURCH-DEFINED CHRISTIAN. In the world today 99% of self-professed “Christians” are of the church variety–and there are hundreds of varieties. Only those who are defined as Christians by the Holy Scriptures are God’s Very Elect who will rise to meet Christ in the clouds upon His return (during the first resurrection), descend with Him to the Mount of Olives, enter Jerusalem where He and they will create the Kingdom of God where they will live for eternity. Simply put, God’s true Christians are those who study His Word, believe it as written and obey it as commanded. These comprise His holy nation, His chosen generation, His royal priesthood, His peculiar people who have come out of the church’s spiritual darkness and into His marvelous light (1 Pet. 2:9). Peter tells us that judgment is on-going in God’s church, and that only the righteous within her will be saved, and they just barely (1 Pet. 4:17,18).

Church Christians are those who join the religious organization whose ministers scratch their itching ears (2 Tim. 4:3) and assure them that, because they have completed a prescribed ritual, they are saved, born again and rapture-ready. Read about Transchristians using the word as the key.

The Lord’s tiny church (Mat. 7:13,14; 22:14/ 13:31,32) is like a mustard seed–the smallest of seeds. She remains tiny because God rules her by His Law which defines good and evil. Man’s church is like the large tree in whose branches birds build their nests. We all know what birds do to trees. That colossal religious beast has done away with God’s Law and has taken unto herself the power to determine what is good and evil. As prophesied, she defines good as evil and evil as good. God’s church is RULED by Him through His Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:14). The false church is LED by Satan’s antichrist spirit while believing that she is following the Biblical God. Truly, Satan has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9).

Donald Trump and those church people who support him, as well as those who do not, are church-defined Christians whom God uses to get certain things done. These are the “Christians” who, just before Christ returns, will unite with governmental forces to try to eliminate God’s true saints, especially His ministers. I wrote about this in part one of this series. I BELIEVE that President Trump will be used, along with professing Christendom, to persecute God’s Very Elect just before they are removed to their place of safety. This will mark the beginning of the 3 1/2 year Tribulation Period. Read about “her (the church’s) place” of safety using the key word Safety.

This brings up the question: WHY WILL THE WHOLE OF PROFESSING CHRISTENDOM, ALONG WITH THE GOVERNMENT, TURN AGAINST GOD’S VERY ELECT SAINTS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD? For the answer, turn with me to Matthew 24:3. Here we find the disciples asking Jesus what would be the sign of His second coming and the end of the world? In answering He began to describe what would take place on the earth beginning with His death and ending at the time of His return. In verses four and five He warns us that men would rise up among us (the church) and would deceive many. So why will the churches unite in opposition to God’s true saints? Read verses six and seven.

Before the Lord’s return there will be famines and disease epidemics like the world has never seen. Only one group will NOT be affected by food shortages and deadly viruses–God’s tiny church. Because of this, His people will possibly be accused of CAUSING the famines and sicknesses which will be afflicting the whole of mankind. Also, the masses will possibly hate them because they have what the masses lack–food and health. God’s messengers will tell the people why they are suffering so greatly and why they themselves (God’s saints) are not. This will add fuel to the people’s hatred. Religionists will then convince the nation’s leaders to declare civil war on God’s people. I BELIEVE that this will take place during the Trump administration or the following administration. When the situation reaches a certain point, the Lord will take His tiny church to “her place.” At that point the Great Tribulation will begin. L.J.
