In verse three Isaiah hears God addressing him as if he (Isaiah) was the nation of Israel relative to the job God had created her ((Israel) to do–to be a light to the Gentiles throughout the world (Isa. 42:6; 60:3 Anyone not an Israelite is a Gentile (Heb.–goi–heathen). God chose the descendants of Abraham to show forth His glory throughout the earth by obeying His Law and being richly blessed for doing so. This would draw the Gentiles to Him and would convince them to become spiritual Israelites by obeying His Law.
Isaiah responds to God as if he (Isaiah) was Israel, noting that he (Israel) had failed at her assigned task by becoming exactly like the Gentiles–Law-breakers (vs 4). Isaiah notes that in spite of this failure, he (Israel) will have yet another opportunity to do the will of the Lord. Israel’s assignment will still be carried out through Isaiah–through the use of his writings. That job would be to bring Israel back to the Lord through the work of His end-time servants. Using God’s strength found in His Word, His modern day apostles put forth Isaiah’s (God’s) message to the remnant of God’s chosen people and to the Gentiles among whom they reside. Verse 6 summarizes God’s will for the “survivors of Israel,” some of whom, as the time of the end draws near, will hear His Word and return to Him. God calls these people His “remnant” (small portion) who will hear His voice spoken and written through His true servants. These people will realize who they are (Israelites) and will return to their spiritual Father. Word coming out of the nation of Israel as well as throughout the world is that Jews (tribes of Judah and Benjamin) are turning to Christ in record numbers. Throughout the rest of the world many of Abraham’s descendants (the other 10 tribes of Israel) are realizing who they are and are turning to their Messiah, just as Isaiah told us would happen. In verse 6 God says to him: “I will make you a light to the nations (where Israelites are located) so that My salvation will be available “to the end of the earth.” God’s apostles and prophets are teaching and writing to people all over the earth as they share what “holy men of God( prophets and apostles) wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Pet. 1:21). Isaiah’s words constitute a major part of this global effort. The Truth is getting out to the world. I hear from people all over the world. This website has been visited more than 3.3 billion times.
Through Isaiah’s writings which God’s messengers take to the masses, the Lord is reaching out to both biological Israelites and Gentiles in order to draw them to Himself–to make them SPIRITUAL ISRAELITES BY OBEYING HIS LAW. Sadly, only a few will embrace Him and His way and will rise to meet Jesus in the clouds upon His return. As the Scriptures tell us, those who ascend from earth during the first resurrection will then descend with Him to the Mount of Olives. From there they will enter Jerusalem where Jesus will begin to construct the Kingdom of God where He, His Father and Their Very Elect saints will spend eternity. Read The Rapture, key word–Rapture for the Gospel Truth about that event which the church has interpreted to mean a trip to heaven. NO ONE HAS GONE OR WILL GO TO HEAVEN TO LIVE EXCEPT JESUS OF NAZARETH. GOD’S ETERNAL KINGDOM WILL BE ON EARTH AS JESUS SAID IN MATTHEW 6:10. Prepare yourself, what will take place upon Christ’s return and afterward is not what you have been taught in church. In fact, it is the exact opposite. Read Next Stop–Heaven? In Matthew 24;3 the disciples are asking Jesus when He would return to the earth. In verse14 He tells them, and us that He will return after: “… this Gospel of the Kingdom has been preached throughout all the world as a witness to all nations.” However, much will take place prior to that time. We are now in the beginning stages of the end-time occurrences prophesied by Jesus in verses 4 through 14. In verse 8 He describes the present time as “… the beginning of sorrows.”
In verses 4 through 13 Jesus warns the earth’s masses about God’s wrath being poured out in measured amounts in the form of false religion, war, disease pandemics, famines and earthquakes, etc. These (His “voices”) are just the beginning of the punishment mankind will suffer at the hands of an angry God. Read about God’s “voices” in the series using Voices as the key word. In verses 9 through 12 Jesus warns about man’s hatred toward man and his hatred toward God. Man expresses his hatred toward God by rejecting His Law, which Jesus calls INIQUITY–LAWLESSNESS. As man’s love toward Him and His Law grows ever colder, his hatred will also grow more pronounced (Jn. 14:15,15-24/ Lk. 10:16). We see this taking place throughout the world as never before. The law, including God’s Law, is being rejected en masse globally. But not everyone obeys Satan’s call to iniquity. God has always had a remnant who stay with Him no matter the circumstances. These few, Jesus said, will endure to the end with their holiness intact. They, and only they, will be saved upon His arrival (Mat. 10:22) when they will rise to meet Him in the clouds during the first resurrection.
In verse 12 Jesus focuses on the primary sin that would be evident within the whole of mankind as they are led by “the church. “The sin that Satan will use to lure men away from God is INIQUITY–THE REJECTION OF THE LORD’S TEN COMMANDMENT LAW. The church did away with God’s Law in 363 A.D. at the Council of Laodicea by changing His Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, thereby destroying the entire Law (Jam. 2:10).
As I have prophesied in earlier series, the one-world church that is forming at this time will go to war with God’s true servants–His “remnant,” His “little flock.” As I have noted several times, the focus of Satan’s attack will be his 1st day (Sunday) sabbath. The Lord made a special covenant with his people in which He declared that the 7th day (Saturday) Sabbath would thereafter be THE SIGN BY WHICH HIS TRUE SAINTS WOULD BE IDENTIFIED (Exo. 31:12-17). The 1st day (Sunday) sabbath is the SIGN BY WHICH SATAN’S PEOPLE ARE IDENTIFIED. Read the series titled The 7th Day Sabbath: God’s Sign of Ownership using the key word–Ownership. Very soon the Sunday Sabbath Law will identify those who bear the “mark of the Beast.”
A time is soon coming when the sign (mark) of spiritual ownership will determine if one can buy, sell, work, etc. This will be an international law which will turn all of humanity against those who refuse to acknowledge the Sunday Sabbath–REFUSE TO BEAR THE MARK OF THE BEAST. I predict (not prophesy) that this will take place within 8 years. I believe that we will see the movement come to pass within a year or so (today is 3/12/’25). I have adjusted my beliefs about the TIME ELEMENT over the past month as international relations have begun to change at a rapid rate. As I stated in a previous series, I believe that Donald Trump will lead America in that war against God’s true saints who will not bow to Satan as will the rest of the world. Church pastors, evangelists, missionaries, Sunday School teachers throughout the world, having rejected God’s 7th day Sabbath Law, will believe that they are serving Him while saving the planet by observing Satan’s 1st day Sabbath.
In summary, we are about to enter a time of international civil war featuring a one-world (Catholic) church against God’s tiny group of Very Elect saints. Due to the advent of real-time global news broadcasting through television and the internet, the world will soon witness acts of God that will amaze even the most faith-filled believer. God’s little remnant church will defeat the forces of Satan and the entire world will watch it happen. Following this war the Lord will take His people to their place of safety. Shortly thereafter, the Great Tribulation will begin. Over the following 3 1/2 years billions will be slaughtered and billions will be enslaved. At the end of that time Jesus will return. L.J.
